I bought a new 36in stand mower from Bradley mowers in 2023 and worked great for the first year. The second season it was used it was every other to every month I would have the same issue like the starter solenoid or starter would not engage. So I took it in for service as it’s “under warranty” and got it back 3 weeks later and 1 week after I got it back had the same issue again. Then they took it in under warranty again get it back weeks later then same issue and has been a non stop battle. I have talked to Mark,and the owner and whoever else they have here, and they don’t go out of there way to make this situation right. I told them why don’t they just swap me out a machine or something because they can’t figure my machine out. They don’t wanna do that. I’m lost at words here I will NEVER buy another machine here and don’t recommend anyone else to.

I have a Bradley 48. I really like the precision with which this mower drives and steers. It has so much power. I bought it late September. Aside from just mowing I have used this mower to clean up leave several times. So much air comes out of the side discharge that it is like a big leaf blower. Sucks them up and shoots them out. This mower was an excellent purchase due me.

Thankful for Cliff Carter, Business Development Manager at Interstate Supplies and Services in Stallings, North Carolina. I highly recommend doing business with Cliff and this store. I traveled over 5 hours one way to pick up a specialty Bradley belt drive push mower. Love the mower! Hard to find but this place gave a great price and helped me get it loaded on my truck once I arrived. Check out was easy. Cliff and a sales associate named Julian were responsive to all messages and texts prior to pick up. They kept their word on all aspects of the deal. Just a great experience - if looking for equipment for outside work or other items. I would highly recommend this great store or using Interstate Supplies and Services on-line. The store has an amazing assortment of specialty equipment at great prices. I was impressed and would drive that drive again if in need of specialty equipment or top of the line equipment of all types. Thanks so much Cliff and Julian - my honor to work with you fellows.

Bradley 36 in stander review:
Commercial use on models bought in 2022 that has over 800 hours and 2024 that has just under 300

TL:DR: buy this mower and support the good folks at Bradley. Your business/personal property will benefit. Im looking to buy another, my third, in 2025

Here's my extended thoughts
1)buying/shipping/uncrating process: all aspects in this process were as smooth as can be ordering such a large item directly to my home. I was helped by Brad who was helpful with any questions and keeping me updated along the way. Shipping was fast even during a busy time. The mower comes in a metal crate so have to be prepared to deal with that.
2)Use: the mower has held up relatively fine with only minor inconveniences that you would deal with on other mowers, like starters, belts, the occasional pulley going bad etc. The quality of cut is okay with mulching blades, good with medium lift blades and great with high lift blades. With the 36 in model it's extremely important to keep the deck scraped to get a good cut. Also, pay attention to grease schedule as I had a bearing in the castor seize even though it was/is relatively new. Grease the front castor zerks more often then the manual calls for. Speaking of castors, pneumatic castors provide a much nicer ride then flat free castors when coupled with the suspension platform. The handles are a little short for guys above 5'10 but as of the time of writing in 2024, they now come with height adjustable handles. The hydros respond well and operate smooth. The engine on the 36s has an air filter system that is inferior compared to ones that have a donaldson but has not effected performance. The commercial turf 25hp runs great, starts easily, only needs choked when it's cold and I've ran it through some thick grass I've never heard it bog down (north eastern tttf , kbg, weeds etc). Parking break should be on the right side somehow, it's very easy to get it snagged on something mid stripe where it is on the left and stop the mower when you dont want to.

Pros/cons: obvious first pro is the cost. Unbeatable especially with the quality of parts. At the end of the day no matter what color it is, it has a briggs engine, standard transmission (wish they put heavier duty hydros on my model for durability as Ive noticed a loss in speed after 400 hours). I was hesitant to buy The first time because to me this was a lot of money at the time and there werent enough reviews like this and there still arent enough, but dont hesitate as these will change your business or enjoyment of mowing as a homeowner. Another pro is it gets people like me off of walk behinds/sulkies and onto a stander. Complete game changer for my health, mood, ambition to mow, as well as efficiency. Cons are minor and usually fixable. The pros outweigh the cons easily. No machine is perfect but you can't beat the value.

Bradley Mowers sent us a bunch of info, with new dealer info--they want our business I suppose. Fact is, we do sell mowers, but if there's no money in it, I don't do it. That's the case with Bradley Mowers. Dealer margins are slim. (Example: Current 61SC-BS26 Dealer inventory cost is $5999 and dealer pays freight. MSRP: $6999--we never sell a commercial mower for MSRP--customer always wants a deal somehow). So, before you buy one, consider the future of your local dealer. If he's new, my guess is he'll likely go out of business or switch brands within 5 years. If he's been around a while, my guess is he couldn't run with the big dogs (Wright, Scag, Exmark, Toro, Gravely) for whatever reason. But, I've guessed wrong before... Not at all a fan of their engine choice... Lastly, did I mention the importance of a local dealer who stocks PARTS.
No matter the brand (even the well-known brands), don't buy if you don't have that. Have a great day!

I have been hesitant on buying a stand on mower mainly due to how expensive they are. I am using it for my personal residence, so I didn't need the most expensive type. I talked with Brad at Bradley Mowers. Very helpful, very personable, and very patient. I will leave another review after using the unit, but if you are someone who is thinking about pulling the trigger, but you have questions....call Brad at Bradley Mowers. Also, they can ship directly to your home!!!! We talked last week, and unit is being delivered today. Impressed!
