I had California Aqua Pros put in a pond and water fall several years ago. The sound of water really brings the backyard alive and we still get comments on how natural it looks.
I thought I had a problem with the pond plumbing so I called them and got an immediate response. It turns out to be operator error (Me) but Jared followed up several times to be sure everything was working correctly. We are very happy with the pond/ waterfall and the service Cal Aqua Pros has provided.

Just, wow...I do not yet have a project with them (we are still fielding quotes) but I have to say that I have never, ever encountered this level of communicativeness from any contractor or specialist, and this is not our first water project or home project. I suppose the actual outcome remains to be seen and I can't comment on the work, but I want to give them a big thumbs up for professionalism.

I can only give high praise to this company that built us a beautiful water feature in a very difficult location with limited access and a steep hill.

Every aspect of this experience was great! The owner, Greg, gave us great advice in so far as what type of feature would look good in the spot we had. The bid was reasonable, and the contract was detailed and professional, and spelled out every step of the process. I had other contractors give us competitive bids and none of them lived up to Cal Aqua Pros. They provided constant communication throughout. The promptness and politeness of all of the workers, as well as the professionalism of the owners of the company and the quality of work was top notch

My experience has not been great with other contractors. Mainly due to not being able to rely on them and their lack of communication or time management. This was a wonderful exception!. Everything went like clockwork. And the guys were professional and respectful. Always on time every day, cleaned up after themselves every day, had creative artistry to build our water feature, and we’re just delightful. They really went the extra mile!

I highly recommend them for any kind of pond or water feature. They are the best!

We were looking to redo/improve our back yard and we chose to rebuild our water feature with California Aqua Pros after talking to Greg and checking out his brochure.
The team came on the scheduled date and first carefully took apart my old water feature. They were very careful with my property and asked about what I wanted to throw or keep from my old water feature; they even asked which area of the yard they could use to store the items from my old water feature. They carefully moved my fish and plants to a separate temporary tank. They made sure not to ruin any part of my back or front yard; they covered the spaces they were using with tarp. I was nervous in the beginning owing to my past experiences with contractors; however, just watching the systemic, organized way in which the team, led by Brian worked; how they treated my property and my things; put all my doubts to rest. They are very professional and knowledgeable and courteous. They know what they are doing. The entire team worked well together and cleaned up carefully each day before they left. The entire project along with putting in the electricals for lights, was carried out in a very timely manner; my family is very impressed by how efficiently the team worked to finish every detail and feature perfectly and on time.
I also had questions during the project and Brian patiently answered all my questions be it about the project design, where to place which color rock or just general knowledge about pond/plant/fish care. He took care of any issue I had; he always made sure I was happy each day with the progress of the project. If I had even a slight doubt about something, we discussed it and he made sure I was happy with the end result. Brian, along with his team, placed each boulder and rock carefully to create a beautifully designed water feature. Every part of the water feature was carefully designed and every detail of it was carefully taken care of.
The team made sure to finish every item that was agreed upon in the contract.
After the water feature was completed, I was given detailed instructions about how to care for the new components of our water feature.
Our water feature was completed in December 2021. Since then, I have had questions regarding maintenance. Greg had been kind enough to answer my questions and give advice along with required links to more information.
I have had quite a few bad experiences with pond contractors in the past. Many don’t follow up and charge to come back if something goes wrong. Greg and his team have returned to help me when I had questions. They are very professional and knowledgeable, and they do a great job!

Great people to work with. We set up a meeting with Greg and Jorge. First thing he suggested was getting my name put on their pond maintenance schedule which we did. The crew showed up after I pumping out most of the water. Boy were we surprised at the amount of muck. They worked hard for 9 days removing as much muck as they could. Let me make note that our pond is 250,000 gallons. While cleanup was going on, Greg and Jorge walked me around the pond making suggestions of what needed to be done to make the pond easier to maintain. Unfortunately I had a budget for the project and their first proposal was over budget. I gave Greg the max amount I had for the project. He came back a day later with another proposal. It was installing an intake bay, 3 new energy efficient pumps each feeding a waterfall and adding aeration. The intake bay is proving to be a good addition for skimming floating debris. When it was all said and done we came in at budget. Greg and Jorge know their stuff. If you are looking to install a water feature or are in need of cleaning and or updating a water feature give Greg at California Aqua Pros a call. I’m glad I did. Greg and his outstanding crew just completed a unique, practical and lovely pondless waterfall feature for our backyard. We have had a beautifully landscaped fish pond & waterfall for 20 years and it was time to not only say goodbye to the weekly maintenance routine, but the pond itself had seen better days. When we first heard of the pondless waterfall, it was hard to imagine one could have such beauty and serenity without the hassles. Yes, the fish have been moved on to another pond and that's the downside, but they're happy and so are we.
