We had a table of four and decided to sit downstairs. The decor and color scheme of the restaurant is so nice and inviting. We started with the calamari and focaccia bread plate. Delicious. The calamari is crispy and very tasty. The best in the PV area. Then one of us had a house salad that we shared with each other, it was a good size salad. The drinks that we ordered were so good! They still had the bubble layer on the top of the drink 30 minutes later because the bartender shook them for so long. We had the old fashion, the maple bourbon sour and an espresso martini. None disappointed.
For entrees we had; a surf and turf, black angus prime NY strip, a 6 oz filet, and the salmon.
The salmon is amazing. It melts in your mouth and you can tell it’s fresh. The purée and the Brussels that go with it are seasoned to perfection. This dish should win an award. For real.
Everyone else said that their food was really good. My teenage daughters shared the fries with their surf & turf and filet. They said everything was amazing. My husband added a loaded baked potato with his ny strip which was massive.
We took dessert to go and that didn’t disappoint either. They have this chocolate mousse cake that is to die for.
This place is a gem. Don’t get fooled by the big names, go to Chophouse Nocatee. They don’t disappoint. This is my second time there. First time was roof top with just my teenage daughters. They have an entirely different menu on the roof top and it’s so good!
This place has something for everyone!!
Oh and the staff is extremely attentive and courteous. Trevor was our server, Chris and Tony were the food runners and Zack was the service assistance. They all did an excellent job!

From the moment we arrived at Chop House we were warmly welcomed by the hostess, setting a positive tone for the evening. The entire team was incredibly accommodating.
We came for Valentine’s Day, and it was also our anniversary of meeting each other, and they decorated our table with roses and wrote us the sweetest card
Our evening was made particularly special by our waitress, Val. Her dedication to providing outstanding service was evident in every interaction. Val anticipated our needs, offered insightful menu recommendations, and ensured our glasses were never empty. Her friendly demeanor and attention to detail truly elevated our dining experience.
The service was impressively prompt, with each course arriving in a timely manner, allowing us to savor our meal without feeling rushed.
The highlight of the evening was dining on the rooftop terrace. The ambiance was enhanced by breathtaking views. The rooftop’s design, complemented by comfortable seating and ambient lighting, made for a memorable and relaxing atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, super friendly staff.
Something to note- we did not have a reservation, they got us in at 5:30 with no wait. There is 1 area downstairs and 1 up that is first come first served which is super nice.

Kids ordered butter noodles and they loved it

Beef carpaccio was delicious and well seasoned
Calamari was delicious too. My wife commented that she preferred how they tossed the calamari in sauce vs needing to dip it.
The shrimp cocktail was great too. We opted against the mustard dip (honey mustard-ish thick dip) and were able to get cocktail sauce with a little kick. For me, cocktail sauce was the difference between buying that and not buying it.
My wife loved her wagyu steak with a side of chimichurri sauce and truffle butter.
Her truffle friends were also great!
The tuna tartar was underwhelming. For me, the avocado was plentiful compared to the limited tuna on it.. the taste was overwhelmingly avocado vs tuna. For me, I wouldn’t get it again.

For dessert

We had 1 of everything except the creme brûlée.
If we had to do it over again, we would do get the same 4 again.
The chocolate mousse was perfect.
The apple pie + vanilla ice cream hit the spot for the kids
Key lime is my favorite
And the cherry cheese cake I was expecting not to like since I prefer strawberry but it was fantastic.

Overall, one of the best if not best steakhouses in the county.

Definitely recommend taking your wife or husband and even your family.

For families with kids, I’d recommend the bar area since it was louder. Sorta hid our kids being loud as well.

Server Randy and associate Zack were attentive, helpful, and respectful.
Great footprint for casual meetups in the bar with table tops and TV's to the standard dining room experience to the rooftop bar and lounge. Upstairs menu differs from dining room for that more casual eatery.
Our meal started with cocktails, a shared chopped salad, oysters rockefeller, a filet that cut with a fork, baked chicken, baked potato, crisp brussels and apple cobbler for dessert.
Very generous portions.
Fine dining. Price reflects ambience, food and service.

Chophouse in Nocatee = 10 out of 10.
Not only was it honestly some of the best food I have had since I moved to Florida, but some of the very best service I’ve had as well!
So impressed with the entire experience. Jake, the GM, was on top of it and checked in with us multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. Our server, Nick, was amazing. The food was PERFECTION.
Loved my raspberry thirtini specialty cocktail. (also tried the Nocatee escape, but that one was just so/so)
HIGHLY recommend the focaccia bread and beef carpaccio as starters!! (Trust me, you’ll thank me later on this one )
The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and the brussels sprouts were mouthwatering good. 🤤🤤

The one thing we didn’t LOVE was the Espresso martinis. The GM noticed this, came up to our table to ask how they could do better, and immediately took them off our bill.

Honestly, we cannot say enough good things about our first experience there! We will 💯 be back again soon!

This location is modern and upscale in design and atmosphere. We were ten at a spacious table, celebrating three birthdays; were warmly greeted and seated immediately. Nick took GREAT care of us - he is very knowledgeable about the offerings, and gave his guidance when asked. He was friendly, funny, and totally engaged with our fun group. Before we left, we checked out the Rooftop Restaurant & Bar. Many heaters and a glassed-in area kept diners warm on this cold night. I spoke to a couple at a high-top near the bar who said they were very happy with their food choices and were quite warm - she even shed her coat.

Overall, our time there was perfect. We will definitely include Chophouse when making plans in the future, and we looking forward to having lunch or dinner and drinks on the rooftop.

I had an amazing experience at the Chophouse! The food was absolutely incredible—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. But the real highlight was Mia! She is an exceptional bartender and server—friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about making sure her guests have a great time. She made fantastic drink recommendations and kept everything running smoothly with a great attitude. If you're visiting, make sure to sit in her section or grab a drink at the bar—she'll make your night even better. Can't wait to come back!
