This review is two years overdue. Contacted Colorworks two years ago to remodel my front yard due to their great reviews on Yelp and Google. I connected with Armando and he did a great job of communicating with us throughout the project. Armando also provided great ideas on our project that we hadn't thought about and really helped enhance the look of the front. Due to the amazing job they did in our front yard, they were the first company we thought about when we had to work in our backyard. Armando was quick to respond again and came out to discuss our drainage issues. Again he provided valuable suggestions on how to navigate rain water away from the house and got a crew over within the following week. He wanted to make sure this was all taken care of before the rainy season, especially as I was concerned more water would damage the inside of our home if not taken care of soon. They did such an amazing job matching and laying our flagstone over the pipes to the existing flagstone that you cannot tell where the original started and new ones were added (original flagstone is more faded but the design is spot on). I'm so happy that we went with Colorworks again and so happy with the outcome of both projects. Highly recommend them for the crew they have and their quality of work.

We had a major overhaul to do of our place as we recently moved in. I contacted Colorworks among other companies. After my due diligence, I narrowed it down to Colorworks. I went to see a project in process and spoke to the homeowner. The homeowner was quite complimentary so we moved forward with Colorworks. We replaced our driveway, replaced and relocated our courtyard wall, changed out our pool deck and pool tile, added a pergola, redid planters, installed sod and artificial turf, installed lighting and a new sprinkler system. Jon was extremely involved from start to finish, both with his on-site presence along with checking in with me periodically to make sure we were satisfied. My original plan for the courtyard fence location didn’t meet the City requirements but Jon came up with a creative solution that I was happy with and also met code. We were very pleased with the work crew, from the quality of work, daily cleanup and courteous at all times. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Colorworks again.

Colorworks recently updated the landscape in front of our house. We are really pleased with the whole process. Jon and his team listened to what we wished and worked closely with us on the design and execution, plant choices and lighting. I highly recommend their services.

After searching on line reviews, asking friends, and interviewing several local area Landscape Design companies, we chose Colorworks. And we are very glad that we did. Jon and his team did a fantastic job with our landscape design and installation. We had a full front yard and backyard to complete and we were not 100% sure what we wanted. Jon and Luis, his Foreman, walked us through every step of the process and even went to several nurseries and stone supply stores to help us pick everything out. Some of the things we did were a block wall across the front with smooth stucco. They did it so well it matches the house perfectly. They also did a large concrete patio in the back yard with large L shaped BBQ island that includs Polished Concrete Countertops. They also built a gas fireplace in the middle of the patio, They did stone work front and back with some turf grass and some real grass. Irrigation to everywhere to keep the plants alive and lighting to light everything up at night. Everyone who walks by our place day or night stops to take a look and comments on how nice everything looks. I'd recommend Colorworks to anyone looking to get landscaping done at their home.

We had a great overall experience with Jon and his crew. There was true passion for designing something we would love for the next 30 plus years. We had a number of changes throughout the process and they were able to exceed our expectations of not only a contractor but what our front yard could transform into. Every neighbor or person out walking by our house stops by to comment how fantastic it turned out. Everyone also commented how quickly they were able to get everything done, they loved coming by and seeing the project progress everyday on their walks. It made it feel like a project for the whole neighborhood. Front yard is great, now onto the backyard... and yes we will be using colorworks for this as well.

We cannot say THANK YOU enough! We were so impressed by the way John came out and had AMAZING ideas and suggestions and was able to do a sketch and very fair quote right away. His ideas were much better than what we had planned! Then we were leaving for a trip and wanted to wait until we got back to have it done, but he suggested doing it while we were gone so we could come home to a completely new back yard. We were hesitant to have strangers around our home while we were away, but we agreed, and it was truly awesome to come home to!! They created perfect entertaining spaces and lighting and pathways and leveled our very uneven back yard. He even connected us with a nursery and had all our plants put in as well!
Our backyard transformation completely changed our summer and has already created priceless memories of fun gatherings. It has also been much lower maintenance!! We are so grateful to you!!! And our plants are growing nicely too thanks to the water lines they added!! We HIGHLY recommend John and his team at Colorworks!
