Poor customer service! Small businesses often forget that one of the key ingredients to being successful is customer service. Greeting customers as they come into the store is one small gesture… but most importantly when a question is asked… the response should be with attentiveness and sense of helpfulness. These small and simple principles were NON-Existent in the interaction. I walked into the store - No greeting… a bit later I approach the counter to ask questions… responses were short and not helpful! It felt like I was interrupting what ever it was he was doing.

Well so here is my review: you are a specialty store; yes you may carry items not found in many other places. However, customer service is absolutely awful! I left your store thinking - it is worth adding this POOR review so that the next customer- at least realigns their expectations.

Highly recommend. We reached out D&J in a huge bind and they exceeded expectations. Found out our generator wasn’t working the day before a large hurricane was due to hit. They fit us in immediately and fixed our issue. Grateful for them and their service!

What a way to take care of a customers in need before Hurricane Milton. I totally forgot to test my generator ahead of the storm. When I finally did, it would not crank. I took in in at 8 am on 10/8/24 at 8 am. When I walked in and mentioned I needed service work done I was asked if it was a generator. I said yes and he informed me that the mechanics are only working on generators until all are done before they do any other work. I was told I would hear from them in 3 hrs. I got my call in 2 hrs. that the generator was repaired. Awesome service during a time of need with the impending hurricane!

I've been a very long time customer and have yet to he disappoint by their service and prices. I recently needed a chain for my chainsaw and they jumped on it and installed it for me while I waited. No complaints here. Just a suggestion, greet us as we come in. Thanks.

Stopped in to ask if they still sell John Deere mower parts and see if they have a part for an older John Deere 165. I assumed the parts guy would at least look up the part in their catalog but I was disappointed because he didn’t. Instead he presented a generic replacement and didn’t seem to understand what I was asking for. I gave up and figured I’d have to order online somewhere. Too bad because I traveled over 20 miles since they are the closest dealer to my home.

Update: On my new ( purchased on 28 August 2023 / now 15.6 hours ) ZXT 72 61G8 / sn: 161469LF : I just had my dealership: D&J Equipment, Inc in Longwood, FL, upgrade my mower to the Wright part #72410104 " Tweel Wheel Rear Tires." 🤠 OH YEA !

D&J Equipment still has maintained " That Hometown Feeling. " My story begins: 37 years ago; in 1986 my father purchased his new John Deere 425aws w/60" deck from D&J. Now; 37 years later in August 2023, I just purchased my new Wright ZXT 72" mower from D&J Equipment. Note: This Marine could have gone to any other dealership; however, I chose D&J Equipment because they are honest and still a Family Business. OH YEA !

I don’t do too many reviews, however this company definitely deserves one. It was a 2 hour drive for me, the only shop within a 150 mile radius that works on the electric Cub Cadets. Needless to say it was well worth the drive. The employees were all very nice, informative, and certainly went above and beyond my expectations on the repairs with my ZT1-42E. The repairs were very fast and thorough. Thank you D&J.
