Do NOT pay Davie or anyone in his family in full the year before the next season. I made this mistake and paid him $2500.00 in full last year for the entire 2024 season. After his son caused major damage to my property in early May of this year, he stopped mowing my yard and refused any refund. He made a proposal for a refund but never sent any form of payment for the prepaid amount or the damages to the property. D&A also caused major damage to my fence posts and panels on multiple occasions. Davie said since he notified me of the fence damage he felt he didn’t owe for the repairs for the posts and panels to be replaced for my aluminum fence. I am currently in the process of suing Davie and this company for the money they stole and the damages caused to my property. You can see the lawsuit on McLean County Circuit Clerk Website. Read the following text message conversations with Davie as not damaging the yard, weed eating and mowing the entire property as agreed were considered “extra” services for him. He also admits guilt for having his son destroying the yard and when he only came out to mow during heavy rain.

BEWARE!!!! My partner signed a contract with Davie and not once did he hold up his end. Davie was supposed to start mowing in March with four mows per month + trimming through November for a flat rate of $2,500.
Davie did not come out for the first mow until mid-late April. Due to this our grass was consistently too long and they did not clean up the clippings causing more damage to our lawn.
Davie also hit our aluminum fence resulting in damage THREE separate times.
To try and catch up Davie sent his son to come mow in a rain storm causing ridiculous ruts in our lawn.
We have tried to work with them on paying to repair damage they have caused and to receive the refund they agreed to give us, but they have stopped responding. We are now in small claims court to try and recoup what this company has damaged. I’ve attached photos, video proof, and screenshots of Davie admitting fault.

Definitely do NOT recommend prepaying for the year unless you like being scammed out of money with excessive damage to your property!

They said the ruts were from our pool that was installed the year before. Again, see photos for proof that it was 100% from them mowing our lawn during a rainstorm.

You can see Deb, co-owner wanting us to sign a form to not speak of the damages they did to our property. We have emails and estimates stating a refund would be issued but no payment has been received in the last 90 days.

Do not prepay in advance for the future season! We are currently in a lawsuit with Davie and this company after we prepaid the 2024 year in full last fall. After only 5 mows this company stated they would issue a refund for us since they continued to damage our property by leaving ruts in the yard while mowing during a heavy rainstorm and hitting the aluminum fence multiple times. It’s been past 90 days with no refund for the 2024 season which has been paid in full and no payment for damages caused to our property.
