I'm very pleased with Desert Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. They are very kind, compassionate people who take you through the emotionally painful process of losing a loved one. I am very satisfied with them helping me with my beloved mother's final arrangements and I am at peace knowing she's laid to rest at such a beautiful place. A huge thank you to all the staff there at Desert Lawn.

The staff are kind, professional and helpful. I had very little money to work with to lay my mom to rest and they made it possible for us to do so.
I received follow up emails and texts messages to see how I was doing with resources to help if I needed it.
I would not hesitate to refer someone or use them again in the future.

Saturday, October 14th of 2023 I understand there were an unfortunate amount of families who lost a loved one and the funeral home was bombarded. However, my family was willing to be patient, wait, and work with this funeral home with the understanding that they were going to be busy. They were absolutely disrespectful, greedy and rude to my Uncle when he called to find out information on how to start the process. Several thousand dollars just for our family to see my Grandmother for 15 minutes alone. Not to mention the remaining cost for the cremation and additional services. 100% money hungry, and attempting to manipulate my family while we were grieving our sudden loss. Please be cautious of this funeral home if you’re in the area and god forbid need to utilize their service. I honestly would call it morbid and abusive of strangers emotional state.

Every person we came into contact with was very kind, compassionate and genuinely caring. Linda Darrow was truly an angel. No pressure, but guided us to what was appropriate for my family member’s wishes, and mine as well. We were in town very briefly, and they saw us within 24 hrs of arriving. This was our first time handling these decisions. When we left, we knew our loved one would be handled with dignity and respect and we were being given a very reasonable price. I have heard many stories of friends paying 10’s of thousands for funeral expenses that they could not afford. The service we received way exceeded the price paid.

Because we live in another state, Linda shipped the remains with tracking. She checked to make sure our delivery was received, safe and in order. I had ordered some extra items, that were first sent to Desert Lawn, then mailed to us again with tracking. Linda checked in again.
Janey answered the phone and was kind and very specific with directions. Elizabeth checked in with me a couple times to make sure we where satisfied with all the services we received, as well as support. I can’t imagine getting thru this painful time our my lives without their guidance. If you are looking for a place to care for your loved one after passing, that feels like they are a honest and trustworthy friend or family member, Desert Lawn staff is just that.

“DISAPPOINTED”
Doesn’t even begin to describe my experience with Desert Lawn, this will be the third time ordering my Grandfather’s plaque. They told us it could take up to 4 to 6 weeks to receive and place the plaque on my Grandfather’s Niciihe,
It has been 9 months still not in place as of Jan.3 2024 my 94 yr old Grandmother is beside herself wondering if this incompetent company put her husband in his Niche or maybe on a shelf in the maintenance shed ?
During these times having to worry about things that you pay a service to provide is unacceptable.

We had such a great experience with Desert Lawn Funeral Home. Our loved one passed away while out of state and they were amazing helping us navigate how to get our daughter home. The staff was very caring and the communication along the way was great. We would recommend this facility. They have even continued to contact us checking in on our needs. Such kind people. My mom passed unexpectedly in December of 2021 and while there has been a lot of drama regarding her passing Desert Lawn was very helpful in setting up a viewing and having her cremated. They were very kind in dealing with me and my family during that time. My only negative comment is that I have received multiple review requests and messages since her passing. While I understand the business need for reviews and wanting to check on customers, it’s incredibly difficult to deal with mourning someone’s passing when the funeral home reaches out as much as they have. I wish an autopsy had been preformed and I’m still not sure why she did not receive any form of testing to conclude cause of death but I’m not sure that’s the funeral homes issue.

Desert Lawn is a very professional and kind place when your whole world has just been broken down and the loss of a loved one you really need sweet and understanding people working with you to make sure everything is right. When my Dad passed away he was a Veteran and Desert Lawn came in and honored my father it was the most beautiful and peaceful way to take my Dad. I really appreciate Linda she is a very nice and kind lady she helped my family with whatever we needed and answered any questions we had and she kept our privacy like we needed.
