Alex was amazing to work with start to finish! Submitted a quote online for a full backyard of gravel and within 2 days Alex was out to provide an on-site estimate. Within a week his team and him were out spreading gravel throughout the backyard. Job took one day to complete. Great, hardworking team. Very pleased with the backyard! When we move forward with landscaping in a few years we will definitely be calling Alex back for irrigation, shrubs, plants, and pavers. Alex was great and easy to work with. Him and his team’s work was great quality, clean, and extremely efficient. He didn’t take weeks and weeks to get my simple design finished and was flexible with a couple minor adjustments that I made during the process.

Alex’s communication was perfect. He didn’t leave me wondering about anything and I didn’t have to fish for or pull info from him. He was quick to let me know where he was in the process of getting everything done and about external things out of his control that were trying to slow down the process. He also let me know what he was doing about those external forces in order to keep everything moving along.

On top of that, he made sure to get us EXACTLY what we wanted. There was a specific type of paver we wanted, but were willing to substitute for something that was similar. He called everybody he could call (including our builders and the front office for our neighborhood) to find where he could get matching pavers. He succeeded, and all of our pavers in our front and backyard match with what was originally installed by our builder.

Alex is a solid guy. He made this process enjoyable and not a headache. He and his staff were friendly and worked hard. He treated me well and not just like another customer. I appreciated that. The price was fair and he broke it down for us. No questions as to what the money went to.

My wife and I plan on doing extra work in our backyard, like installing an outdoor grill/kitchenette and fire pit. We will be keeping Desert Skies Land Works #1 on the list for any extra work we plan on having done.
