BEST SOD EVER!!!! I have never received sod this good - and I’ve bought quite a bit. Price is right in line with everyone else, AND the quality is far beyond everyone else. Every piece of sod was a true square, all the exact same size (made this laying so easy), and each piece was so heavy and sturdy. The sod was not falling apart per usual sod & because of how heavy, you were only picking up one piece at a time. I’ve never been so impressed, will forever buy here, and your customer service is amazing! Thank you guys so much!!!

Terrible communication. Ordered 14 pallets for a Friday afternoon delivery. We spent two days making sure the dirtwork was perfect in anticipation of the delivery. I had 4 guys ready to work which is hard to do these days. Called Friday morning and was told I wasn't on the board for delivery. This is after I have had two conversations with Jessica regarding the order. The lady tells me Jessica isn't here and I'll have to call you back. No call back. So I called back two hours later and was told they cancelled my delivery. I've been buying sod from this company since 2012 and have purchased hundreds of pallets of sod from them, usually with very few problems. In this case, they deserve less than 1 star. I'm not sure what is going on there, but they have become rude and disorganized. Never again. Strongly discouraged using them until they can get their act together.

Ordered sod on Monday and was told delivery would be Friday. Called Friday at noon to confirm delivery so I can be home to show driver where to place sod. Was informed they canceled my order and replaced it with another customer. They didn’t call or reschedule the delivery. Was told I could call someone else.

Office staff are rude and condescending.

We ordered sod from this place a year ago with the same issues. Half the sod was burnt and had to be replaced. After one week of installation, our entire yard was infested with army worms.

We called our fertilization company to do an emergency treatment as our yard was literally crawling with worms.

We thought we would give them a second chance. Glad we went with Hot Springs Sod and Turf. The office staff there are actually pleasant to speak with.

When I received my sod 11 pieces were half on the pallet and half off. Then it was like trying to put a puzzle together to figure out how it could be taken off without tearing them apart. Looks like they must’ve half fallen off while they were building the pallet and when they realized they had they tried putting it back up. Some of it was on one layer then the rest was mixed in with another layer. When I tried to call up to talk to customer service they were ABSOLUTELY the rudest people I have ever had to deal with. I didn’t have a problem paying my bill. But I should’ve only had to pay for the rest that weren’t torn into pieces. That was 11 pieces just a matter of about maybe $20. They threatened to sue me if I didn’t pay the full total. And then accused me of lying saying that I was the one who tore them up. Even though there was 4 other people there helping me lay the sod who saw the condition of the pallets and could attest to them being torn up. I sent emails two different times with pictures and both times they lied and said they didn’t receive the emails. I DEFINITELY would not use this place. Evidently with them having cheaper prices you lose good customer service and good quality rolls of sod!!

Carla was the worst representative for a company I have ever dealt with. She would not take a request for a return call from the owner. She seemed to be more concerned about her level of employment verses making a sale.
I had a difficult time the first time I purchased grass from them and should have known better that things would change. They have not. I would not advise purchasing your sod from them. Poor Poor Poor customer service. No matter what. I'd buy weeds before dealing with Double Springs grass farm.

Not sure why all the bad reviews as we had no issues. You're buying grass....you're not buying clothes at a custom tailored shop somewhere in New York. Jessica was a great help and we received our 12 pallets which were laid out fairly well close to where we were working. Would definitely recommend these guys. If you think people are treating you rude on the phone, just remember that you have no idea what's going on at the other end of the phone. People are doing the best they can...calm down and don't be so critical of everyone. This is what's wrong with the world anymore...no patience.

Jessica was great to deal with. Sod was ready and loaded within 30-40 minutes of my arrival..!
Sod looks great, fresh cut/not burned, and service incredible!
