I had a 16ft spikey Ocotillo unearth itself during a particularly severe monsoon a couple weeks back. Initially I contacted a tree removal company for disposal, as I didn't have the tools readily available to manage such a violent plant. After getting the runaround for a week, I contacted Jay at Down 2 Earth Landscaping.

Jay was extremely helpful from start to finish. He provided me a very reasonable quote over the phone along with a quick turnaround date of removal. On the appointed day, Jay and his team arrived on the early side of the 2hr window and wrapped everything up in an expedient and professional manner.

I'm extremely happy with the work Jay and his team performed, and would highly recommend Down 2 Earth for all your landscaping and removal service needs.

UPDATE: I couldn't update this review quick enough. If you're tired of landscapers not getting back to you, call D2E. If your yard looks like hot garbage, call D2E. If you have extensive stuff you need to move or trench, call D2E. If you like nice prices, CALL D2E. And...if you want a true partner to brainstorm and then implement new ideas, then call D2E. I hope they never go away as a company. Lol. (Glad we happened upon them on Google.) Haven't tried the maintenance plans yet, but I am pretty sure I know who we are going to go with. ? Oh: And they worked with us while we were long distance! I spoke with J three times before the job and probably 4 times on the day of the job while I was driving across the country. Trust the other reviewers: This team is going to make sure that you get exactly what you want/need.

So...I called Jay to do an estimate on my yard for clean-up. I will say that his prices were a *little* higher than others--by $100-200 but in no means was he unfair. (The yard totally looks like hot garbage compared to its glory days...Lol.) Also, I asked for a quick job because I'm having other work done on the house that requires a clean yard so perhaps that impaced the price as well. That said, I was supposed to work with a different landscaper and for one reason or another we never connected with that person. (AS in, we never even received an estimate, but continue to have text conversations?) Mr. Jay picked up the phone one day, texted me back thoughts that same evening, came over THE NEXT DAY, called me to walk through the yard, gave me the estimate for clean up in real-time, BRAINSTORMED on a few creative projects, committed to running the project past his horticulture guys, and THEN told me that he about to make his schedule for the week and would get us on schedule. (Mind you, this was all the day after I reached out.) Also...Lol...Jay noted that I was extremely engaged in ideas for the yard and stated that he wanted to walk through again on the clean up, and modifid landscaping for the yard. I felt so heard. ? Just by having the initial conversation and seeing the property, he knew that we wanted color and green, with potential hardscaping, without having the typical desert look. He also discussed his/our consciousness of maintenance and water usage alsongside where new pollinators could go. ? ?. Even without being on the schedule, this partnership seems like is going to be amazing. I'm excited we were forced to find someone else, and excited that Jay picked up the phone. I will definitely update the review after the first round of work is completed. Maybe we'll post before and after photos as well.

Jay and his team anr Down to Earth are simply amazing. Every interaction with Jay is pleasant and very very professional truly Down to Earth. Jay goes the extra mile to ensure everything is taken care of to your satisfaction, including following up after the work has been completed. We had some trees trimmed and I was so impressed that I decided to use Jay services again he delivered the second time with over the top service. I really appreciate the way he takes care of our property. Clearly, he treats every project as if it was his own. I will be using Jay several times a year to keep our place looking tiptop. After contacting for an estimate, they were early on the day of the appointment and quickly completed the job. We needed tree and bush trimming along with weed prevention and were very pleased with the job that was done. Would recommend for anyone looking for landscaping services.
