We are extremely happy with the final result of our pool and landscaping project. While there were some delays, they were communicated upfront, and we fully expected them. Throughout the process we worked with the Dutch Barn designer and the project lead. It was helpful to have this resource because we really didn't know what we wanted. Once we understand our options we were able to create the space we wanted. It was helpful to have one company that took care of the landscaping and the pool building. The team did an excellent job, and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations.

I'm very delinquent on writing this review, but we absolutely LOVE our new patio and have spent countless hours enjoying our revised space this summer. A HUGE thank you to Dutch Barn Landscaping and their entire team for everything. Everyone we worked with at Dutch Barn Landscaping was very friendly, professional, patient, dedicated, and wonderful. Our project certainly had its challenges and the DBL team walked us through every step of the way (from demolition of existing structure to building new), answering our many questions (we had many), and they were always very patient and quick to respond. Everything from first site visits, to drawings, picking out paver colors and styles, thinking of the little things we would not have, coordinating contractors, and essentially making our dream area come to life. The various crews that were out to complete the work were all amazing professionals as well- clean, thorough, efficient, detail oriented, and just wonderful. A special thank you to Angie and Shawn for being just AMAZING!!! Thank you everyone at Dutch Barn Landscaping!!!

We are absolutely thrilled with our project completed by Dutch Barn. Our project included: fiberglass pool with an autocover, pavers and landscape lighting. The quality of their work speaks for itself, but we also genuinely appreciated the DB staff. Angie kicked off our project with an in person meeting to show us a multitude of examples and shared her expertise. We left the meeting feeling very confident in our game-plan and chosen aesthetic moving forward. Tyler and James became our other points of contact in tandem with Angie, and the communication and responsiveness were bar none. Our questions were always quickly answered, and we were very happy with the partnership as a whole. As you can see from the photo, the crew did a PHENOMENAL job executing our vision. The pavers are so incredibly well done, and our landscaping was fixed so well that you would never know an excavator and a skid steer came through multiple times 🙂 We genuinely cannot express our gratitude to Dutch Barn for giving us our absolute dream backyard. We will create so many memories in the years to come, and we would recommend Dutch Barn to anyone looking to do the same.

We have not been given any updates as to when our pool will be completed or worked on. This has been an on going project since 11/2022. Our backyard is inhabitable the pool is filled with standing water and disgusting, no cover, electricity is not connected, the island is incomplete and missing the pull out garbage can and mini fridge, no sod has been placed, and an entire jacuzzi missing. Worst part is I keep waiting and asking for a time line of completion and have not been getting any information for the last two weeks. Now that the weather has improved not one person has been out to our home this season. Attached are images of our back yard to date. They also removed the fence and crossed over to the neighbors side and haven’t repaired their grass. Such a terrible lack of communication And waste of money.

We made the mistake of hiring Dutch Barn for an inground pool and spill in spa project in 2023. The designer we met with told us that the build shouldn’t take more than four to six weeks and we unfortunately believed her and my husband signed the contract. They dug our pool in September of 2023 and after securing 50% of their money, they stopped showing up and left us with a huge hole in our backyard. My husband will constantly call them and they will never return his phone calls. The only way he can talk to someone is for him to take time out of his busy schedule to stop at their business and demand someone to talk to. They told him they’ll start at the end of March and ghosted us again until May of 2024. They finally came and of course the work they did was the work in the contract that will secure them 95% of their money for as little work as possible. Pool was only 40% complete and they had most of our money. Shawn calls and demands payment before work is complete and had the nerve to tell me that we signed a generic contract and their new contract states otherwise. I told him that’s absurd and that we will pay them when they actually finish the work per contract that they had us sign. Months go by and they’re ghosting us again. Their crew shows up once or twice a week and stand around more than they actually work. Sometimes weeks go by and no one shows up. The pool liner was very poorly installed and has bulges in every corner and the folds are horrible. They told us that problem will be resolved with the heated pool water which never did. We asked for them to put our automatic cover on to protect bulging from accidentally rupturing and every time they told him it’s ordered and will be here in four weeks. And of course their four weeks excuse took months and was still not installed. Our permit ended up expiring after a year and the work was not complete. There was still no urgency from them to finish. Every time my husband ends up having to go for an update they lie about coming or finishing the job. Our neighbor had the same pool installed by a different pool builder in less than a month which was very frustrating to see. We ended up hiring another company to finish the job and paying thousands over what we had anticipated. So now we got our fingers crossed for the spring to see if the frozen water ruptures the liner and if the spill in spa will work properly. Unfortunately I read their bad reviews and saw they had ongoing lawsuits after we hired them. Through our entire life I can honestly say that they have been the most unprofessional, dishonest and nightmare company that we had ever dealt with. Lesson learned for sure!

Dutch Barn did not install my pool, but the company that did, sold to them and most of their employees carried over. They did however, do my outdoor bar area and we couldn’t love it anymore! Dutch Barn has assisted me with any issues that we’ve come across with our pool. They’ve replaced my salt cell- free of charge, have come out to do a deep clean on our pool, and have fixed our shallow end skimmer twice now. We contacted multiple companies as our issue came at all pool companies busiest season. John personally FaceTimed me and walked me through the issue and was fixed in less than 2 minutes. We appreciate all the help that they’ve given us throughout the years and are so happy our warranty carried over to them!

I could not be happier with Dutch Barn, the best of the best! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. They turned my backyard into paradise. Their professionalism and attention to detail was second to none. Thank You Dutch Barn for a job well done.
