We stopped in at Earthscapes Garden Room while visiting Palm Harbor. This Garden Center is magnificent. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the main garden shop was under renovation but we got to see the grounds and many displays with wonderful ideas for outdoor
hard -scapes and seating areas. Loved the koi pond. Very inspirational.

Knowledgeable, helpful and super friendly service. The place is an oasis and the plants are beautiful. I was able to get a great selection of hardy plants that are perfect for my landscape. I could not have done that without the team at garden room!

The new boutique at Earthscapes Garden Room is fabulous. Kelsey is extremely knowledgeable of the plants, care and potting design. I love this place, have gotten beautiful healthy plants there several times, and plan on going back again and again. You just have to overlook the pepto bismol paint color in the boutique, otherwise tastefully done! Make sure to take advantage of the Clover app/savings.

I contracted Earthscapes because 1. I wanted to support local businesses and 2. I wanted the job done right and I was willing to pay more for getting it done right, and pay more I did.

Unfortunately I have been disappointed on many fronts. We were plagued with irrigation problems including disconnecting my working sprinklers. Eventually they repaired but some oddities remained. Additionally my water bill was over $500 more those 2 months. Some from watering yes, but seriously not that much!

Irrigation aside. Although it looked great initially, within a week weeds/grass were popping through. Even though they used landscaping fabric, the grass and weeds have been HORRIBLE. One would have thought that something better would have been done besides just skimming the existing grass/weeds off before planting occurred.

Additionally, 3 weeks after planting the fertilizing company they recommended found (mealy?) bugs all over the new palms. They swore it wasn't from them, but all of our palms had it and had to be treated. However none of my neighbors palms were infected (which are closer to one of the infected palms then they are to the other new palms on our property). So we had the fertilizing company treat the palms, then many of the plants around the treated palms withered and died!! They tried to blame irrigation, but that was working fine. It took them 3 weeks to come out and look at the situation themselves. They said they were going to replace the dead plants. I have reached out to them several times and they say they're working on it. The last I heard from them they said someone would be out that day. It has been two months since this has all started and I have heard nothing for over a month now.

Bottom line: As much as you might want to support this local business. Think twice. I paid top dollar to get a top job done that I was hoping they would stand behind. Unfortunately, that isn't what I got.
