Francisco exceeded my expectations each time he worked for me. He has just completed our third project and I cannot be happier. Craftsmanship, attention to detail, the work ethic and impeccable taste are the trademarks of Francisco and his team. They always arrive on time, and they complete the projects within the agreed timeframe and budget. I admire their hard work. They respect the constraints of a neighborhood, and they leave the site absolutely clean.
Francisco, Edgar, and Felipe have just completed building a drainage and repaving my backyard and the patio. They carefully regraded the site to preclude water from running under the house. They installed new pavers which go perfectly with my existing hardscape and plants.
Francisco, Edgar and Felipe also constructed a retaining wall for me. It was a difficult job, because of a steep slope. The retaining wall looks great and I am confident than my slope is well protected.
I met Francisco when I needed to install a gutter and a downspout at the back of my house to protect the house from rainwater. The gutter is well integrated with the house, it is hardly noticeable and effectively diverts water from the house into the drainage.
Francisco and his team are my first choice for any exterior projects.

I hired FG&M for my boss's large property in Mill Valley. Although communication was spotty and inconsistent (no email replies and rarely answering the phone), I decided to give them a chance. On the first visit, they left grass clippings littered on the driveway (see photos). When I reached out to ask they rectify it by cleaning up on their future visits, I received no response. On their second visit, they did nothing noticeable to the homeowner, but left grass clippings on the lawn that killed the lawn (see photos). I called Francisco to ask that he rectify the situation by raking the grass off and stopping by so that my homeowner could make clearer the expectations (not leaving pinecones on the patios, sweeping--very basic expectations). Francisco advised he would have to charge for this "favor." I confirmed over text and called to confirm. The next day, he no-showed. I called at 2pm, no response. I called at 4pm and he said he was off for the day and laughed at me for having expected him to come out. I am not sure what got lost in communication here, but this crew actively decreased the health of the homeowner's garden, took no responsibility, and charged $1,400.00 for the service.

Francisco and company are an exceptional family business. They put in a french drain during the terrible rainy season and saved my hillside from flooding. Not only are they professional, reliable and cost friendly but also extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of gardening and maintenance. I recently had him build stairs into my hillside garden and they did a beautiful job. Now I am secure in knowing that i have safe access to my garden. They also installed a drip system. Since I'm not the most adept at figuring out how to set the timer , Francisco has helped me numerous times when i needed to change watering times or days. He and his team are kind and helpful. I highly recommend them for all your gardening and landscaping projects.

Franciso completed my back and front yard and it came out perfect. From the tilling to the sod placement and plant placement, it was very professional work. Super reasonable priced and he works hard. He will fix any issues that come up and shows up after to make sure everything is working. We have been using him for a few years and will keep using him. You will not be dissapointed.

Francisco installed our lawn, irrigation and raised beds in 2014. He was reasonably priced and completed the project on time. Over the past 3 years, I have had a number of issues with our irrigation timer and sprinklers- which is to be expected. Francisco has come back several times to make adjustments without further charge, including last month, which was 3 years after the work was done. He is an honest guy with a hard-working crew.

Francisco and his crew maintained our yard in Marin for many years and always did a great job. He and his guys were always prompt and courteous and were happy to address any areas of concern in our yard we pointed out (though he and his guys would usually catch them before we did). He installed our sprinkler system a few years back which saved us the trouble of trying to find an irrigation specialist. For high quality work and excellent customer service I recommend Francisco's Gardening and Maintenance.

I really wanted to hire them and support my latinos, I requested a estimate for a small maintenance work of our house mind you we obviously dont have a whole field back yard, its more high leveled. When the gentleman arrived I asked him if he can go threw the back because obviously we are in pandemic still and I have my sister who is down syndrome and is at HIGH risk. When asking him I felt he was already judgmental by the way he had to enter the back house and made a side comment.. I felt uncomfortable. I asked my mother what exactly she wanted to get done and while her explaining, he made it seemed like my mother had no idea what she was talking about which again even made us more uncomfortable... after, he said we will get a estimate 1-3 business days in my email. NEVER received it.. if this request was not to standard he could have just told us or have someone call us to let us know or refer to another business which I would have appreciated that so much ... in the end I just wanted to support our latinos, but the way we saw it, they are more interested in the other side of Marin County...

Francisco and his team transformed my yard - mostly dirt and sad-looking bushes and trees - into something beautiful! Francisco knows his stuff and I trust his opinions and ideas. Besides landscaping, he completely overhauled the irrigation system. His prices are fair, too. I can't wait to work with him again on 'phase 2'!
