I LOVE this store. They have lush, beautiful and quirky plants of all sizes, which is especially helpful for those of us living in smaller spaces. Their homemade candles smell divine, and they also offer gemstones, planters, rugs, and beautiful home decor. The owners, Lindsay and Ashley, are friendly, always give me great tips on plant care, and have a fabulous eye for design. Their success story is nothing short of inspiring. Grab your friends and go on what will feel like a mini adventure for your senses, and indulge wildly in some feel-good plant therapy. Prepare to fall in love with pretty much everything. 🪴

Good Roots is a VIBE. Whether you’re a plant expert or a plant killer, Lindsay and Ashley have got you! They are incredibly helpful and informative. If plants aren’t your thing, they have their own candle line, that has officially converted me from a candle company I have been faithful to for a decade. They are AMAZING! If plants and candles aren’t your thing they offer even MORE: amazing art, decor, crystals, and a moody atmosphere.
If all that isn’t reason enough to go visit, Lindsay and Ashley are the coolest, most amazing humans. They give throughout their community and to organizations. So there you have it-go get your house warming, teachers gifts, hostess gift, treat yo self gift, birthday gift, ALL. THE. GIFTS. Good roots is your place!

I couldn’t be happier with all of my plants. I know absolutely about nothing but every time I go in there they educate me and give me the best advice. Don’t go anywhere else if you’re thinking about buying plants Good Roots is number 1! They are beyond friendly beyond personable and actually listen to what you want and give you multiple options. And if you don’t buy a candle from them, you are totally missing out. It is the best smelling candle you’ll ever buy in your life. I’m so happy with what they have helped me decide on. Thank you

Gorgeous store with beautiful plants and home decor items. Whenever I am in downtown Glen Ellyn, I always make a stop here to check out what is new. Recently my husband and I were looking for a unique indoor space to take maternity photos and instantly thought of Good Roots. The warm and moody bohemian vibes of the store were just what we were looking for, they also were able to accommodate us bringing our dog with too. (Which was super important for us to include her). Ashley was great to work with when coordinating our photoshoot date and allowed us to use the space just after business hours so we could have the place to ourselves. The photos turned out great and we are so grateful to have been able to utilize Good Roots to document such a special moment in our lives.

From the windows to the walls this space and women who own it have created a gathering place for plant ladies and anyone who walks through the door. The space has hand selected local artisans and home decor items to die for (the magic carpet wall, vintage finds and local artists selection is a must see) I have visited several times since grand opening and there is not one time I leave without a gem that fills my home or workspace with a little more good. I have always felt welcomed and I am immediately greeted with friendship and love. Everything you need for your home to fill it with good energy is here and then some. Good roots is not only a place to shop for your next favorite thing but a lifestyle of compassionate and passionate togetherness, you can feel it in the air. You don't want to miss out on this gorgeous space and all that's in it, It's pure magic.

Good Roots is a beautiful store with quality plants, gorgeous home decor and the kindest, most knowledgeable owners! I have been in for something specific, a general idea, and just to browse and each time I leave with a stunning plant and the feeling I just hung out with friends instead of made a businesss transaction.
