Tyler and his crew truly transformed out back yard. They added beautiful black metal fencing, expanded our retaining wall patio, and installed pet turf for our fur babies. They also added a lovely curved walkway from the patio to the stone fire pit they built on the lower level. The crew worked diligently...even on days when I never thought the weather would allow it...and cleaned up the work area every day. Great Guys, Great Work - We couldn't be happier.

Poor customer communication and has not followed-up with me with estimates. He doesn't answer my calls or follow-up with me. While I understand there is many projects ongoing, please at least be decent enough to tell your customer that you are too busy for additional work. No call or text is unacceptable. It should be a two-way discussion versus me having to reach out to constantly.

Tyler Burns/Ground Effects came highly recommended for our backyard project including a firepit, landscaping, lighting and resolving drainage and irrigation issues. They far exceeded our expectations. They were top-notch and professional from top to bottom. Tyler was creative, always available and responsive. The crews were skilled, timely and hardworking. Tyler created a design that turned an underused, maintenance headache in an area in front of the house into a beautiful and useful outdoor hardspace space for sitting and relaxing. His team showed up ready to work and wasted no time getting the job done. Quality work on everyone's part. We've have received many compliments on the idea, the design and the workmanship. We can now relax in the front of the house on our stone patio and stay in touch with neighbors passing on the street.

Tyler and his crew were so professional and courteous. They worked hard everyday. We are very pleased with the decking they put in around the pool and also the rock work they added for our creek. We will definitely use them for any future work and highly recommend.

The stonework they did for us was lovely; however, we have rocky clay soil and one of my main goals was to have our planters prepared with new topsoil placed. I ordered over $700 worth of shrubs which were planted by Tyler’s team. After the fact, I realized that at least one of our larger planters had not been amended, and the holes they dug were too small (and full of rocks and clay) to support the plants’ growth. I’ve spent hours re-digging and amending the soil for my new roses and am worried about the health of my ericaceous shrubs as they did not seem either aware of or concerned about the need to prepare the ground adequately for any of the plants I ordered. I reached out but have not had my concerns addressed.

Got Tyler to come out and look at the landscaping I wanted done. It’s been a month now. No calls, no texts, nothing. Emailed twice asking for an update. Nothing. Just respond and say “I’m not interested” or “I’m super busy”.
