Bathrooms are clean, dogs loved the dog park!! All the other people staying here are really nice and we even made some friends.

We love that it’s so close to Crystal River, Yankeetown and rainbow river. Definitely centrally located for all water sport activities.

The staff is amazing. The maintenance staff does a really good job keeping the pool and grounds clean and Jayne in the office is the nicest lady ever.

10 stars. Will definitely be back when we’re in town.

We stayed here for 3 nights in October 2024, right before Hurricane Milton hit. We had originally planned to stay 4 nights, but we decided to leave a day early to avoid the predicted 80mph winds in the area. Jayne kindly refunded our last night given the situation. We did enjoy our brief stay here. We were originally concerned that the ground might have been saturated from Hurricane Helene but that wasn't the case - the sites were very solid and our rig didn't sink at all in pull-thru site 123. The laundry machines all worked well and were reasonably priced. The pool was great as well. They could maybe use a few more trash cans throughout the park. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice Resort. Spacious sites, nice size clubhouse with a large TV. And a sports package. For you Football Fans. Pool, laundry rooms, Ice machine and a brand new Pickle ball court. So come stay where the people are friendly. ?

We found this location online and decided to camp for the weekend. The location isn't bad. The lady, with purple hair, in the office is polite, but not overly friendly. We asked a few questions and her responses were like she's never camped, and didn't really understand the questions. Seriously?! You should be able to answer basic questions about the campground you work at. We had to make a reservation in advance, so it was disappointing to get to our actual campsite and discover the concrete pad with the picnic table needed to be blown off and weedeated around. The HUGE fireant nest by the electric pedestal was not fun either!!! Seriously....the reservation was made 3 days in advance....no reason why maintenance or someone couldn't check the site, before we arrived. The campground isn't full this time of year, so no excuse there. Oh....the storm was 2 weeks before we camped, so again, no excuse to not clean campsite!!!!!
Don't bother with the wifi modem....it isn't wifi like you think!!! You still have to have certain cables to hook it up to the outside box, or it won't work!!! The lady in the office doesn't bother to explain that part!!! The overnight folks are the ones who have to explain it. Maybe y'all should sell the extra cables at check in, when you rent the modem to folks.
We are property managers, so we DO understand what it takes to have a stellar property!!!
The bathhouses were clean!! Good job there!!

Thought the grounds could really use some work.
All the pads are overgrown, appears to be a laxidasical establishment, no one really appears to running things..
It was a mediocre experience we would have passed had we seen all the deffered everything..

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Gulf Coast RV Resort during our March 2024 trip, chosen somewhat serendipitously as we ventured towards Crystal River for a Manatee snorkeling adventure. Positioned conveniently en route to our subsequent destination, the resort's proximity was a boon. Upon arrival, we were immediately struck by the ample space at each site, facilitating hassle-free parking. The warm reception at the office set a positive tone for our stay, with clear and friendly instructions provided. Despite encountering a minor issue with our power hookup, the prompt response from the maintenance team had us up and running within minutes.

Evening strolls with our furry companion revealed a community atmosphere, with fellow guests proving notably welcoming. Despite its proximity to a busy highway, the ambient noise was surprisingly minimal, ensuring a peaceful night's rest.

While our initial visit limited our exploration of the resort's amenities due to time constraints, our subsequent return allowed us to fully appreciate its offerings. The pool, laundry facilities, bathhouses, and game rooms were all utilized, each meeting our expectations admirably. Notably, the internet service, available for a mere $1 per day, delivered impressive speed, enhancing our overall experience.

As seasoned RV enthusiasts of 12 years, spanning countless journeys across the nation, we seldom feel compelled to leave reviews for RV parks. However, Gulf Shores RV Resort undoubtedly merits recognition. Its combination of convenience, hospitality, and well-maintained facilities left a lasting impression, ensuring that we eagerly anticipate future visits.
