Jeff is a true visionary and his work is exceptional. He designed and installed a spectacular 15-foot waterfall and stream in our backyard. Jeff is very easy to communicate with and just an all-around wonderful person. Jeff and his entire crew showed real ownership and pride in the project. The guys always arrived on time ready to work and left the site in an orderly fashion every night. This kind of pride and dedication is hard to find in a company now a days. I’m so happy we found Jefferson Landscape and Design.

Jefferson Landscape and Design is a magnificent company!

I was planning on spending a fortune on my backyard and wanted an honest, reputable company that wasn't going to take advantage of me, and that's exactly what I got. I did my homework, read the many reviews and I can honestly say, all the wonderful things people have said about Jeff and everyone at Jefferson Landscape and Design are absolutely true! From the color of the plants to the curve of the lighted pathway, every detail was expertly executed. Now I have a peaceful place to spend my afternoons while the grandkids have a safe, level grassy area to run and play.

I am so happy with the end result. I will definitely reach out to Jeff again when it's time to redo my front yard.

I have so much respect for Jeff and Jefferson Landscape and Design and here's why. I had called several other landscapers first and they all gave me a quote over the phone, but when they actually came out to survey my yard, it was often 10x higher or more than what they quoted. Imagine my shock!! That's when a friend recommended Jefferson Landscape and Design. Jeff didn't give me a quote over the phone, instead he came out and we sat down and talked. He asked what I wanted for the yard. What was MY vision, not his. After three design meetings and seeing the drawing of the yard, I knew exactly what I was getting and exactly how much it would cost. No surprises. I respect how open and honest they are. Plus, I got a great looking yard. Thank you for being so transparent in a time where that seems to be the exception and not the rule!

Jeff took the time to listen to what I wanted, worked with me and my budget, suggested some wonderful alternatives and then presented me with an amazing design. Everyone at Jefferson Landscape and Design is hard working and dedicated to their profession. They made sure to keep me updated and informed every step of the way. When they say from “Design to Finish” they really mean it. The main reason I went with this company was because I didn’t want to deal with a bunch of different people, but what caught my eye was their blog. It seems like such a simple thing, but I knew that a company that took that much time to further explain concepts and ideas would definitely go above and beyond on my project.

In fact, it was their blog post on small landscapes that caught my eye. My yard is urban and small(ish), like most these days, but I wanted it to be full, to include as much as possible so it didn’t seem small. They hit it out of the park! I now have a stamped concrete patio, an arbor, lights, plants with gravel planting areas, a Japanese maple, a flowering tree, even a pondless waterfall. The irrigation system and lighting transformer that Jeff installed allows me to set the timers and forget about it. During the design process Jeff and his team really listened. Alejandro and Emilio are both really knowledgeable, respectful and hard-working. Jeff offered suggestions on what would work best, and offered terrific solutions to my problems…well, what turned out to not be problems at all. Great company and crew all the way around.

They not only did a very nice job but they were easy to work with. Any little snags that did come up were quickly addressed. Like most couples, my husband and I have watched all of those DIY, House Flipper-type shows and we thought "Oh we can easily do this. We can totally landscape our yard". WRONG!! We were oh so wrong! That's when we decided to call Jeff at Jefferson Landscape and Design and thank God we did. Not only did he swoop in and rescue our eyesore, hodge-podge of a backyard that screamed "We don't have a clue", but quite possibly saved our marriage (just kidding. LOL). Jeff listened to both my husband and myself and took into account that we both have VERY different ideas of how we wanted our yard to look and function. My husband wanted a simple and classic design, "less is more". I wanted hip and whimsical. Jeff came back with a design that was a perfect blend of classic with a bit of whimsy.

Jeff first showed us a list of plants and trees that were drought-tolerant, would thrive best in our type of soil, and provide a kaleidoscope of color. Then it came time to pick the color for our stamped concrete, this is where Jeff's expertise and patience came into play again. My husband wanted plain (picture beige). I wanted fun (picture red). Jeff offered a suggestion that was right in the middle, a color neither of us had even considered, but ended up being EXACTLY what we wanted. Brilliant!!

It's truly amazing the way Jeff designed our yard, it feels like he gave us more square footage. I'm most looking forward to when our new plants and trees bloom so we can be showered with all of the different colors and scents. Our yard is now a cohesive work of art that is functional, gorgeous to look at, and easy to maintain. The process from concept, to design, to execution was seamless. My only regret is that I didn't call Jefferson Landscape and Design sooner!
