Went in for my 3 oh clock cuppa but changed mind & had a late lunch or an early dinner ?️ I was told my someone whom i knew in Pavers that will remain anonymous that their lentil soup ? was very good. I hadn't long to wait when Jill came along, to escort me to a table & she let me sit at one of my choosing & I thought she wasn't going to crack a smile ? but she eventually did & we had a great wee bleather together? I told her what I was in for - the stake pie - & she went to see about that. Whilst waiting i remembered that i should should have ordered the lentil soup & was SURPRISED that I had to pay the bill before my soup & my stake pie came & i thought I looked a trustworthy guy, anyway i paid up & It arrived very quickly not too hot & not too cold & in-between thick & watery & tasted very nice. I forgot to take a photo of it BUT was surprised to see a very small jar of croutons at the side & a long KINAFA white soft finger roll cut in halve along with a portion of LURPAK butter. NOW the stake pie was something else, the first thing i noticed was the proper chips - the hot ? plate & when i removed the puff pastry from the top of the stake pie it was LOADED & most of the meat tasted lean enough, so much so, i left nothing behind except my ?️ & i finished off with a double scoop of good quality LUCA'S ice cream ? from Musselburgh & Edinburgh, but the best ice cream?con be found in the esplanade cafe in Greenock, so down ? u pop when summer comes DV.

In i went for a turkey ? lunch & felt like singing, but I didn't after my ? meal - here is as always my truthfully reviews.
Eve was a very pleasant waitress & was easy to talk to.
2 if my brussel sprouts were a bit tough & my stuffing was cold & the whole meal was only warm.

Unsuitable for purpose

Have previously complained about wood and kindling being kept under gap in ceiling in garden center Polmont branch letting it get wet. Had been told would look into it but haven't done anything. Seems Klondyke are happy to pay to dry this wood and waste money by storing it where it gets wet and black with mould. Warning to anyone buying this wood it will do more harm to your log burner by creating tar and creosote best avoid unless it's stored where it can't get wet. Will sorce my wood elsewhere in future

Lots of very pretty Christmas things, plus the usual garden centre things. Did have a coffee, which seemed quite small and expensive, and I'm used to London prices! We didn't eat, a toasted sandwich was £8.95, they looked amazing, but I couldn't justify that much ?
The singing reindeer and donkey were great fun though ?

Absolutely love this garden centre! It's amazing! The plants are always in immaculate condition and look amazing! I particularly love their house plants, they have a great selection! The cafe is lovely too, food and coffee were tasty and staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend giving it a visit

We had a great time at Klondyke. We happened to stumble upon it as we were staying nearby. The garden centre is massive, we arrived thinking we'd kill 30mins of waiting until check-in and 2 hours later we came out and it was wonderful.

The staff are lovely, the cafe although busy didn't involve too long a wait. I can understand why some might say if you're in a rush then it's probably not the most convenient but the food was stunning.

My partner got a ciabatta with roast beef, and it was the nicest sandwich we've eaten in I don't know how long.

We needed advice on plants and they called down their expert who spent 10-15 mins talking me through. As a complete novice, she was knowledgeable and patient.

It's a nice garden centre but put aside half an hour if you want a coffee and be prepared to remind the cafe staff that you've ordered a coffee and take time to remind them that you've already paid.

After your extended visit to the coffee bar, prepare yourself for the hunt to find the exit, it's not very well signed, which may of course be a cunning plan to make you explore areas of the garden centre you never knew existed.

It's a nice place, but please improve the efficiency of your cafe.
