Watch out if they are doing work in your neighborhood. Our neighbor is having work done by them currently. While removing sod with their tracked equipment they drove through my yard causing damage and destroying my boulevard. There solution was to offer to throw seed down when they were finished. Its been a drought for two years so now I will have to repair my lawn, seed, and water. After calling the office I was told they would call the guys on the ground but was offered no apologies. Thanks Kouski!

Update over 1 week later. Still nothing has been done to remedy the damage, picture 2. No contact from the company. It is now mid October so no reason to repair at this point since grass or sod would not survive the winter.

We just finished a hardscape / landscape project with Kouski Landscape and we are very pleased. This was a fairly involved build with a large pergola, patio with pavers, stone fireplace, low voltage landscape lighting, and irrigation. All of the elements came together very nicely, and the finished product is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for.

From the design phase to the punch list, Joel and his entire crew were focused on our needs, desires, and satisfaction. Early in the process we recognized that Joel has a keen eye for detail and design. His suggestions and counsel helped us improve our preliminary plan, without adding cost. When the project was under construction, it was clear that Joel (and his crew) sincerely wanted every detail to be right and he welcomed our feedback. His foreman, Matt, was especially attentive to getting things just right and to our satisfaction.

Once the project started, Joel's crews worked continually on it until completion. Often they would work late, or on a Saturday, in order to keep the project moving along. And, I should add that his workers were always polite and respectful.

During the last 45 years, as a commercial and residential R/E investor and operator, I’ve hired many different contractors. Kouski Landscaping Company is one of the very best I’ve had the pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Joel and his company, and my wife and I look forward to our next project with them.

In June 2020, I hired Kouski's team to restore the beauty of my mother's backyard and flower garden and make it easier to manage given that she isn't as young anymore. The lawn had been devastated by some sort of grass illness. The team was professional, prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable! They evened the ground, removed old tree trunks, replanted flower beds, removed overgrown plants, lay down stepping stones, and seeded new grass. BEAUTIFUL! It is now an oasis she and the family can enjoy. Maintenance is so much easier. Thank you, Kouski & Co!

The price jumped in six months from 600 to over 1200 dollars. If you are looking for a good landscaper who charges appropriate prices, look elsewhere. If you are a millionaire, then maybe this place is fine for you, but still wouldn't recommend.

More detail: The actual workers and HR (especially Jessie, who is just very response and the best. seriously, she's amazing) of the company are more than fantastic and kind. In contrast, the owner or appraiser - I think Mike, was not only nasty to me, but also lazy. He did not send me an estimate back until I called the company a week later, even though he said he would send it back the next day. Its a shame that the owner is myopic, indolent, and irresponsible.

Joel and all of the crew are great to work with! Joel is very detail oriented and a creative landscape thinker. I discussed ideas I had for the type design we were thinking, and he built on that to create an overall package that we have been quite pleased with. All the guys doing the work were courteous and very pleasant. They all worked well together, cleaned up their work areas nicely, and really did professional installation to be proud of. I think you will find a very pleasant experience working with Kouski Landscape Co. for any size landscape project.
