This is why homeowners should get rid of their HOA management after 5 years because they stopped doing their job after that.
They can't or won't enforce their own rules to not let people Park their boats, RVs and trailers in the community that take up space and eyes sores in the community after more than a day. They should be fining and ticketing these renters and homeowners that do this and think we want to see their personal toys in the community day after day! Do your job property management company!

Jesus has been the greatest help! I always make sure I email/ go to him when needing help with something. He explains everything thoroughly, has the best energy, is so polite, professional, patient, and helpful with everything I’ve ever gone to him with. Thank you, Jesus, and good job for hiring an incredible employee!

Unfortunately, this company doesn’t enforce the HOA rules, allows homes with weeds in the front yard (instead of lawns) and homes that need to be painted for years. We moved to a community with an HOA because we didn’t want to live in a neighborhood with homes in disrepair (yet some homeowners/renters drive BMWs but can't seem to put a new lawn and sprinklers in their front yards). They also use O’Connell for lawn maintenance and they do a so-so job. Lawns are often cut too low and look horrible until the grass grows a bit and then it's time for them to butcher it again. Really wish the Irvine Company's maintenance company handled maintenance in Ladera Ranch because Donald Bren would never allow this in one of his communities.

The absolute worst of the worst HOA’s. HORRENDOUS. I’ve lived in many, and they are by far the worst. Expensive, send crews out consistently to take pics in neighborhoods to find problems for the residents. Awful to communicate with.

They do a great job of keeping the amenities in good condition. The staff goes above and beyond to explain the procedures for renting things or fixing up a house. They also took the time to let me know when I left my key card in the Dog park.

Worst experience ever as a resident. My key doesn't work and had to run all over the place. Even though my lease is valid, I had to go from Oak Knoll to here. On the computer I am valid, but they don't have a hard copy of lease agreement. I updated my lease months ago digitally. I then had to drive by to my Laurel Vista office to obtain a coy of my lease. Office is close for over an hour. Can't get a copy. I will then need to take a copy when I get it back to Maintenance office, update card, then back to Oak Knoll. Needless to say, it turning in to running around back and forth for hours and still not fixed. I have special needs kids with me who are crying and it's hot out. This is 2017, get our act together.

These people work hard to keep our community clean, safe, and enjoyable for all the residents. Could you find things to nitpick -- sure. Are they better than pretty much any other HOA of this size out there? Probably. Keep up the good work gang.

It's a typical HOA. They keep the area clean and orderly. The sub HOA's are much worse. St. May's is awful. If you can avoid the neighborhood HOA, do it.
