We went to Mama's looking for plant and edging ideas. We found an edging we liked but no price. Sage looked it up and could not find it so said he'd need to call MGMT and find out while we looked around. He later found us and said they were $1.50 a piece. It sounded good so we went home, prepped the area, and counted how many we needed. I came back the next day to get 60. I was told they were actually $8.65 a piece, making a $100 project a $500+ project. I asked him to honor the quote I was given and was told the boss said No. I understand mistakes happen but that is just ridiculous.

We were visiting Key West and decided to stop by Mama's Garden Center. They had a huge sign saying 50% of Whale Tale I picked out a pot I wanted paid for it and was setting in our van when the lady I paid came to my window and told me that she missed putting the new tag on my pot and I owed her more, she said the new tags said $20 and 50% would be $10. , the old tag original price was only $6 full price . So when this place puts stuff on sale they first raise the price so that a sale price is more than the original full price. I would not recommend this place , you can't trust the prices not to change even after you've paid and getting ready to leave.

Further back on the lot are tropicals and native landscape plants, shrubs and trees. Fertilizers, insecticides, and a bevy of other related items can be found here. I had a wonderful experience going to Mama’s for the first time this past Saturday. Keith helped me in the nursery, I was in desperate need of new plants. Iguanas completely devoured all of my landscaping I recently had installed. I mean ALL. He was so patient with me, he listened to colors, size and even textures of plants and leaves I liked and disliked, but also kept in mind my serious iguana problem. He helped me pick out several plants and flowering bushes iguanas do not like, but also ones that fit the aesthetics of my backyard.
The staff inside was tremendously helpful, especially the lovely lady working the counter. They have beautiful planters inside, which will go lovely with my new lemon tree!
Finally, my plants were delivered first thing Monday. The crew who delivered, particularly Zane, were very communicative and friendly. All around it was a wonderful experience with each member of the staff, and I will absolutely be back many times in the future.

I was really disappointed in their garden plant selection. Just stuff any place carries in a messy way. The best part was their pot selection. They did have some cute pots and some beautiful ones. I would not go back or recommend anyone stopping if you are looking for plants.
