My home was built in 2021 and MCcray's Landscaping and Irrigation installed my Irrigation system and sod. I also hired MCcray's to level, lay sod, and install an Irrigation system on the remaining back area of my property. After the Irrigation system was installed I noticed 12 each sprinkler heads that required to be relocated due to the heads spraying in my neighbors yard, neighbors drive way, street, and privacy fence. I contacted Lamont MCcray and told him the issue I was having with the sprinkler heads and he promised would come out and relocate the sprinkler heads free of charge. I have reached out on several different occasions for several months now trying to get Lamont and his crew to come relocate the heads. Sometimes Lamont would message back stating he will try to get some to come by this week and sometimes he won't contact you back at all. This has been ongoing for over 4 months now. Not to mention, my neighbors (which is an elderly couple) have had the same issues with their sprinkler being improperly located and have been trying to contact Lamont MCcray for several months as well. They also had their Irrigation system previously installed by MCcray's. I definitely would NOT recommend MCcray's landscaping and Irrigation. Not responding back to a customer especially a customer that has previously patronized your business is completely unprofessional. After the 4 + months I have been waiting/contacting MCcray's to come relocate these sprinkler heads I could have hired another company to come do the job, and do it right the first time....Don't waste your time!

We hired this company for our landscaping based on the recommendation of a gentleman who cuts grass in our neighborhood. We had a less than desirable experience with our interior remodeling so we were skeptical at first.
Mr. McCray showed up promptly at the time he had promised us EVERY SINGLE TIME. The first day he came to our home he spent as much time as we needed discussing our plans and verifying the work to be done. We also identified issues with our irrigation system. He came back the next day with a new control unit and got our system up and running, and refused payment until the entire job was complete.
When they began work on our retaining wall, his entire crew wore smiles, were friendly, and worked diligently to get the job done.
After the wall was laid, Mr. McCray, not us, noticed that the wall had a slight curve at the middle. We found out later from the contractor who laid the wall that this was necessary. However, Mr. McCray apologized fervently and even offered to have them take it down and start over if we were not satisfied. Frankly, I would have never noticed but he was up front and honest about all of the work.
When the wall was finished, I noticed that the masons did not smooth out the cement on the upper portion of the wall. Mr. McCray offered to cover the cost of adding stucco to the wall because we were dissatisfied. Although we agreed to split the cost of the stucco, I was very impressed that he even offered to cover it.
With the wall finished and the sod laid, the yard looks fantastic! To top it off, he replaced almost all of our sprinkler heads from the 90's, had his guys adjusting them in the rain, and even had his crew come back today to remove the excess pieces of stucco and cement from the wall.
A significant sum of money went into this wall and my wife and I are very satisfied. Money well spent! We had initially received a quote from another company and it was more than double what Mr. McCray charged us for the work. His prices are more than fair across the board and if we had any issues he instructed us to contact him.
His father does the best concrete work in town and the apple has not fallen far from the tree. Mr. McCray is, in my opinion, the best landscaper with the best prices in town!
We plan to solicit his services again in the future. We highly recommend you hire him and his crew for your next landscaping project.
