Still waiting on written apology from corporate for their actions during Covid. Kicking out of the store a disabled firefighter with lung damage that could not wear a mask for eight month’s, ignoring state and federal exemptions…
Knew masks didn’t work then and definitely know now….

I was in there 5/16/24 To buy a grill and I was gonna spend over $600 on it My fiancé wouldn't talk to a employer about it before we spend that much money. Well, one guy came up to us and said I'm sorry we don't speak to women. So I wouldn't got the manager. The manager stood there with me and said you guys. For the ones needed help and we said yes. Oh, your fiancée's that 1 in the Gray shirt. I said yeah. We do not help women around here.

Very disappointed with the service we recently received. We made an online purchase to pick up in store and long story short we got home and the whirlpool bathtub we purchased was the wrong product but in the right box. We called the store and fortunately they had one of the correct items in stock but we live pretty far so we had to make an extra trip to make the exchange. When we called the store to explain the issue they were pretty disorganized and didn't know what was going on and acted like it was a big inconvenience. I also emailed customer service and their response was terrible (see below).

"I’m very sorry, but we are cash and carry, and travel expenses are for your account. We obviously have no control over where our customers live. It is your responsibility to assure your purchase is suitable for your needs before you leave the premises. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I didn't expect them to reimburse me for my gas but a little effort and better customer service than I received go a long way. If I have to check every item and open every box I purchase from them because they don't have quality control then that's a problem. My husband does a lot of contractor work and we're doing a full bath remodel and usually do our shopping at Menards but definitely won't be returning after this experience.

The customer service was excellent. Three different associates took us directly to the item that we were looking for. We went back the next day to return some blinds and they said "we can trim these for you". We also went in search of some screens on sale. They only had 3 on the shelf. The associate took use to customer service to check the system. Nothing! He couldn't order them for us either, but he told us that we could place an order our selves. He even checked on his phone first to make sure.

Quincy Menards has the worst customer service. I bought a large item, asked them if they would load it for me and tie it down. They said yes they would. I get there pick it up and asked if it was secure and the guy says yes. Well it wasn't tied down, left on the pallet which allowed air to get under it and 2 minutes down the highway it blows out and scatters all over the highway. I called them and they said to bad, not their problem. I spend thousands of dollars there every year but I will never step foot in there again.

I purchased a ceiling fixture that was missing a part from the manufacturer. Skip from electrical made things right, and exchanged the fixture out for a new one. Thank you!
