I called asking for a quote on clean up, mulch, edging and help with deciding and planting one plant where we removed a burning bush in the past. Mike came out today and as we were talking about the plant to place he then started talking about my boxwoods and how they needed iron when I inquired more about this he said “I am not here to do consulting”. And then I asked if that was something he did and how much that would be. He abruptly said “No, I have to go” and quickly walked away. No quote, no follow up, nothing. Mike was there for literally 4 minutes. I tried calling to ask if he would be providing me with a quote for anything I needed and he said “No, you’re looking for consulting and I don’t do that. Let’s call it even, no charge.” I was really confused and tried to reply that “I was primarily looking for mulch, edging, clean up and deciding on what to plant in that empty spot.” But Mike cut me off at mulch and said “there are tons of people who can do mulch, alright? Have a nice day.” And then hung up…I’ve never experienced anything like this. Very unprofessional and rude.

Obviously if I wanted ONLY mulch I could have gone elsewhere but his flyer said that they did replacement of plants & trees and redesign. Why say that if you don’t do that. And don’t mention other things that are unrelated to what the customer is asking for if you don’t want to talk about it! I normally never write reviews but this experience was so unbelievable and now I’m pissed for having him waste my time.
