It's been way over fifteen years since I purchased a Meyer Lemon tree from Mid Valley Tree.
I never knew how to prune it; I planted it in the wrong place; forgot to water it time after time, but was faithful to dump a cup of general fertilizer at its roots once a year.
Not realizing it, a huge Pecan tree slowly started to isolate it by growing over the top....Look! Nothing stops this tree from giving up just enough fruit each year for me...this extremely old woman.
I have to confess, I never remembered where I purchased it back in 90's because I was new to Visalia. But I'm sad to say I wanted to come back for that Granny Smith apple tree because this other nursery didn't tell me I needed two apple trees.
I messed up by not searching for the name and address of your nursery. I thought your place retired...I'm so sad I didn't make all those apple pies, but my Lemon bar cookies were fantastic.

I tried to get information on buying some trees on the phone. I was told to look at the website then call for pricing... I guess they can't spare 3 min to talk. I went online and found the trees I wanted to buy, but didn't answer the phone when I called back and did not return my messages... I guess since I only wanted to but four or five hundred trees at a time my business as a hobby farmer was too small and I'm not worth spitting on? Anyway they don't want my business so I'm looking elsewhere for a nursery that has what I need...

I visited this nursery for the first time on 4/9/22 and it is flat out amazing. The staff were helpful without being overbearing, they were knowledgeable, and they had a great selection. All of the plants were well labeled, in great shape, and so well organized. Also, their website was so informative. It gave me a lot of help when making my tree/shrub selections. They have earned themselves a repeat customer.

Wide selection of quality plants.
I got some hard to find aloe tree and crested cactus.
Excellent customer service from everyone at the nursery.
It was well worth the 3 hour drive from Sacramento.

It is important for the community to shop the locals. This garden center was definitely worth supporting. The employees were helpful and knew their plants, trees, and shrubs. Very well-organized nursery with healthy stock. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. They will take care of you. Prices are good for quality plants.
