I wish I had known about mix garden years ago. The Mix garden “mix” is without a doubt the best raised bed planting soil one can find. My sun gold tomatoes are thriving, my eggplants are thriving, strawberries are juicy. The vegetable starts they carry are the healthiest I’ve stumbled across. Gerald, Grace, Caroline, and Patrick are experts on anything and everything you need to know to get your garden right. Thank you mix garden!

I love-hate this place. Plants seem great, prices reasonable. Customer service horrible. No one offers to help you. Expect a long wait to check out. Seems like they cater mostly to corporate accounts; don't really care about individuals. Pretentious, too. I mean, the seed packets they sell are in Italian? Huh? Go if you don't mind Healsburg pretentious attitudes and begging people if you have a question.

Great place to go for all the garden/landscape materials. Very easy to get a yard of mulch in the pickup. The one confusing thing is the check out. There are just two random tables with ipads. It is a little disorienting not having a counter to go up to - find the prices/someone to help.

We love MIX. A wide variety of starts, beautiful housewares and most importantly, they are wonderful members of the community. They donated tomato starts for a food bank garden that we have where the produce goes to Farm to Pantry helping to feed those in need in Sonoma County. Thank you for your generosity MIX!

Great selection of curated veggie starter plants. Varieties that you won't find in a regular plant nursery or at Home D. The other perrenials and annuals were healthy and well tended. Beautiful selection of bulbs, some unusual ones. Compelling glassware and vases. Naturalistic and inspirational displays. I had a great time just wandering around and looking at things. Purchaed some italian red endive starts and some trailing rosemary that I had not seen before, also some paperwhites and dark red anenomie bulbs. Great place to go with a fellow gardening addict!

Mix Garden always has a large and enticing variety of healthy starts. Their annual spring heirloom tomato collection is unsurpassed. I appreciate how hard Gerald is working these days to fulfill orders in the time of sheltering in place. I organized an order of tomatoes and lettuces effortlessly by phone. He had the order ready for me to safely drive back and pick up within hours. Even on a day when he was slammed with inquiries. I've been coming here for years and always feel grateful to have such a great resource in our community.

What's not to love about Mix? Amazing vegetable starts for the garden. I love the variety of heirloom tomatoes. I've gone there for the past 3 years and have been delighted with such variety! Same with the peppers. Amazing selection.

I was pissed off at Mix for a while because they dumped some sand on my truck when I bought a yard. You know, the operator was sloppy. I notice they got a new bucket and the guy that dumps the material is very expert now. All is forgiven. I love MIX.

This business insists on moving dirt around in their parking lot on Saturday mornings despite being right next to a children’s outdoor soccer field. It fills the air with harmful particles. They have been asked by concerned parents to hold off on moving dirt for just a few hours on Saturdays to spare the air and make it safer for the hundreds of children and families next door. But, they refuse. This is no way to run a business in a small community.
