I've been using Moon Valley Nursery on Tatum Blvd & Bell Road for the last 18 years and I have planted well over 60 trees on my property. Their work has been excellent. This last planting, I purchased another Jacaranda tree and two fruit trees. Brett, the crew supervisor, managed the planting exceptionally well and was fully involved, ensuring the crew met all my expectations and didn't spare any details.

The crew cleaned-up the yard of all debris and created well-manicured and tidy 'wells' around the trees. I could not have been more satisfied with their work.

Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. I expressed what I was looking for and they pointed me to the correct trees. We were able to schedule the installation around my time. Moon Valley Nursery on Tatum is wonderful. Delivering our new purchases, Arthur and his crew did an outstanding job of planting both the tree and cactus. They left our front yard in spotless condition looking much better than when they started. Arthur was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful - a credit to Moon Valley Nurseries. He answered all our questions and was extremely patient with us. It was amazing all the work that was involved in planting the tree but the crew accomplished it expertly. Arthur did an excellent job explaining what we needed to do to help the tree thrive and assured us we could call any time with questions or concerns. We will certainly be going back to Moon Valley Nursery.

Yesterday, we came home to find that a large chunk of our Palo Verde tree had broken off and fell into the street leaving traffic a narrow space to pass and came close, but didn’t hit my neighbor’s car. Once the fallen portion was cleaned up, we realized our tree was now leaning towards our house and will need to be fully taken down. A bit flustered by this unexpected issue, I ran my two kids over in a rush to Moon Valley Nurseries in Phoenix. I explained the situation to Bryce Mackey and that we were in an HOA that required approval of the tree before it goes in as well as the fact we wanted a low maintenance and shading tree to replace the old one. He was very calming and knowledgable about my HOA and area and brought me (and my two kids) to see the trees that would be approved. We found a Chilean Mesquite Tree that fit the budget and will offer us some shade right from the start. He was so easy to work with and even had coloring pages to keep my kids busy and entertained while I worked with him on the paperwork and payment. I appreciated this since I ran out with them and was unprepared. Also, as we toured the nursery, he took us in a golf cart so we weren’t walking around during the hottest time of the day and my kids thought this was the greatest thing ever! We are excited about our new tree and would highly recommend working with Bryce.

Moon Valley Nurseries is great. I lost a very mature Palo Verde tree in the last severe storm in Scottsdale this past month. I called Ryan Olson and he helped me pick out a beautiful matrue Palo Verde replacement. The installtion crew came yesterday and did a bang up job planting the new tree with little to no mess at all. Brett and his crew including Nate (Equipment Operator) were very clean and professional. They answered all my questions and gave me good advise on the tree care needed in the next few months. Their supervisor Scott (Regional Manager) even dropped by as they were installing the tree to make sure everything went well. Great Job Moon Valley Nureries. I'll be a return customer!. Jared

We get our Christmas trees here every year and they always are great and last through the holidays. Had a great experience this time—Jeff helped us find the right tree for us and the manager Jay was more than kind and attentive to our needs as well. Great experience, will be back next year!
