Here's the thing. We're at 10k ft in elevation. This garden store grows these flowers at 10k! We had Icelandic Poppies come back this year and boy are they beautiful! So yes it's pricey, but have YOU tried to garden up here? It's not easy. Thanks MGG, signed, a local. (Poppy in pic is right beside his right foot on May 12 under the snow)

I've been traveling from Monument, CO to Jessica's greenhouses for 5 years now. An entire trailer full of the most beautiful flower combinations anywhere in the state. You will NOT find a better selection of hanging pots, single, double and even triple tiered. Stunning work.

So, you want gorgeous flowers around your home, office, for friends or events?
Come to Alma! Yes, it is worth the drive, these prices kill the more local Silverthorn competition, hands down.

The first 8 photos (first row, left to right) are what we bought. The bill was ~$800.00.
Try to beat that in Silverthorn. You won't. Easily beyond $1,500 for the same batch.

Jess and her team create the MOST gorgeous baskets you have ever seen. Amazing customer service, fair pricing, and just a gem of a spot in this little mountain town. I have never lost one of the over wintered perennials I have purchased (saying a lot at 10,000’ where our house is), and my hanging baskets and gorgeous flats of annuals absolutely make our yard come to life every summer!

This little piece of heaven means so much to me. The first time I stepped out of my truck and walked into one of the greenhouses I was speechless. Never have I seen such beauty and an abundance of work, heart and talent. The beauty of my home and deck is because of their talented efforts. I also live at altitude and their selection of pansies is spectacular. Thank you for making my heart so happy and my world so magical!

We have been going to this amazing nursery for years now and nobody makes more phenomenal baskets then Jessica! They are breathtaking!! And the variety to choose from, single, double or triple cascading baskets, make it so difficult to narrow it down. I spend hours just looking and deciding and Jessica and her staff are always so helpful!! It is definitely worth the drive to Alma to find a large array of baskets, annuals, perennials and the most gorgeous pansies around! I love this place!!!! Best in all of Colorado!

This is absolutely THE BEST greenhouse in the area. Not just Park County but Summit County as well. They are really known for their hanging baskets and words are inadequate to describe how fabulous they are! They sell flats of flowers and stuff as well, but trust me when I say that this is where to get hanging baskets from! Additionally, they are incredibly knowledgeable on what it takes to grow plants at high altitude. Further, because their plants all start at altitude and in the cold that exists up here, they are much better suited for it compared to what you might find at the grocery or hardware stores. Just be sure to bring your checkbook because they don't take credit cards!
