Have been going to Orleans for decades. This last trip I needed a cooler for the boat and stopped into Nauset Marines store and found the right size cooler. I was happy until I asked about a cooler cushion and they said it would have to be special ordered and around a couple hundred dollars. So I went to Igloos website and looked up the cooler which Nauset Marine had priced $205.00. I have my own business and I understand that businesses are entitled to make money. I thought there may have been a pricing mistake as the price from Igloo was $99.99. I called to see if it was a pricing error. Their reply at Nauset Marine was, no that’s our price. I had used the cooler so I did not return it. I called Igloo and was able to purchase the cushion for $90 all in with shipping and taxes. Check prices before shopping there. That will be my last purchase there and I let them know and there was no response.

Great experience all around. Clark in sales was fantastic getting me a Boston Whaler ordered the way I wanted it. The orientation that I went through when I picked up the boat was very professional and very informative. Great team of professionals. The boat had a few issues from the factory that were taken care of by the service department. Andy Williams was fantastic to work with and got me my boat back perfect and in a timely manner. I would highly recommend buying a boat from this dealer. They totally stand behind what they sell. In my opinion they will go above and beyond other dealers to make sure you are totally satisfied with your purchase

Nauset trailered my boat from another yard and stored it for me while I was trying to sell it. They also performed a welding repair project on the hard top support. I dealt with Ryan Chase and from my first interaction to my last Ryan was responsive, helpful and professional. The welding work came in a bit under the estimate and once the boat sold they facilitated getting the boat on the new owners trailer.
I felt like for many dealers what I needed would have been perceived as more of a hassle than it was worth but, in Nauset's case they treated me like I was long term customer and gave great service regardless of the dollars involved or the fact I was a new customer.

Asked about a whaler and drove to Orleans to check it out,
Had a few issues ( Fenders broken off trailer,Missing toilet, bent boarding ladder. broker cabin window etc.and asked some questions to broker Clark.
Made a strong cash offer with no survey even before I got answers to a few questions that could cost me dearly after the sale.
Clark never answered the questions ( he should have known as he is the broker of record) and just told me buyer will only come down slightly and its as is. We are only $1500 apart and I still have no answers.
Nor is he apparently willing to make the deal work.
Not impressed with this lazy attitude at all. I have several friends that warned me about this place. If you have money to set on fire this is the place for you.

Getting fat and lazy in the brokerage business is no way to treat cash buyers. The good times will end soon (like 2009)
I will take my money elsewhere.

Nauset has been maintaining my 20 year old Whaler since I got it a few years ago. They've always been fair and done their best for me.

This year they went above and beyond when the motor decided that it was going to have a bunch of mysterious issues, and then finally blow a rod while underway. I really felt like Keith in service really understood my frustrations (with the motor), especially since I'm only on-Cape a few weeks a year. Then Ron stepped in to help as well, and he went above and beyond to help me out - including coming to give us a tow back when the motor finally had its final "catastrophic seisure". And a nod to Ryan (the service tech) who worked like heck to get the motor running before it finally gave up.

The bright side is that in the spring I'll have a shiny new motor, that starts every time and will take me and the Whaler another 20 years.

In a world where people so easily complain about what doesn't work - I'd like to thank the team at Nauset for showing what true customer service is about.
