This is one of my favorite plant places ever. I used to live in Chicago and come out here to this nursery. Now I’m a local! Been coming here since 2021 and will continue.. it’s addicting!
All the surrounding places are way too $$. This is the only place that is reasonable and quality.
They have a nice variety of rarer plants. Again, it ain’t going to break the bank!

We went here during the winter for houseplants, surprisingly enough, there was still a huge amount plants an options. The Staff were really nice and happy to tell us their experience with their own plants. They explained how to care for these plants because of their confusing living conditions. We were looking at aloe, and we learned a lot of new things about taking care of them!

As a customer of 7 years and someone who worked there for a few months, i will never be supporting this company again. The amount of plants and practical items they blindly throw in the trash is honestly shocking and sickening.

For a local nursery of 30+ years to have no form of composting, and just blindly throws out living plants in the garbage, it is something I cannot support.

I personally witnessed it and started saving these plants out of the garbage before they were killed, yet I got spoken to and told I can't because "I might step on a nail, or encourage customers to also do it" me asking questions regarding this was not allowed and seen as "arguing"

I SAVED hundreds of pounds of sod, and at least 100 plants, 95% of them all survived and are thriving. I am never going to support this company again and I hope they change their policy.

Now from time to time before they threw out plants and killed them they gave us employees the opportunity to grab them. Unfortunately whatever wasn't grabbed was still thrown out with no care in the world. No donating to a senior center, no donating to the local school, no discounting 90% for customers, just thrown in the garbage.

Look at there dumpster container, they taped a paper sign onto it saying not to get any items from it. They posted that just because of me. I am the only one in the history of the organization who took the initiative to not blindly follow orders and actually respect nature and the plants we have enough to save them.

You are unfortunately lying. I will now attach photos of all the plants I saved that had no diseases or issues. I will not be counting the ones employees were able to grab before being tossed out and killed unnecessarily. I am going to show the plants that were already in the garbage

This is my favorite nursery in the whole Chicagoland area. I drive a little over an hour just to come here and can spend hours looking at all the varieties of plants, trees, flowers, etc they have. Everyone is always very friendly but today I had exceptional service from Kent. He took the time to answer all my questions and went above and beyond on recommendations. He seemed genuinely happy to help me even after I stopped him for questions several times. If you ever have any questions or need guidance I highly suggest you ask for him. Can’t wait to go back for my front landscaping project within the next few weeks. The pictures are from a few past containers and plants I’ve utilized from them.
