The entire team is professional and caring, and is always focused on delivering a product that we will be happy with for 20+ years. They never once took a short cut or skimped on quality. . We hired Michael at Renovision Road to remodel our kitchen and living area. Overall, we are happy with the outcome and will likely work with him again in the future. A couple of things we particularly appreciated: 1) He has a great sense of color and design, and helped us choose materials and finishes that we are very happy with. 2) He cares about delivering a good result for clients. When there was a problem with one of our kitchen cabinets, he replaced it, even though the project was otherwise complete and all money long since paid out.

Michael and his team were a highly professional and dependable throughout the project. We worked with Michael and his team on three bathroom gut rehabs. Michael helped us through the design, shopping for all project materials, and then took full responsibility for project delivery, working with this preferred contractor throughout the process. Michael and his team were sensitive to cost throughout, always making sure we were OK with any cost elements. If anything, we elected to push the project cost higher. We are very happy with the results in all three bathrooms. I expected that we would go beyond the forecasted timeframes for completion once demolition started, but in reality Michael and the team delivered each of the bathrooms ahead of schedule. The team that does the work was courteous and tidy throughout the project. Michael and his team were great partners to us during what for us was a major home project.

My husband and I couldn't be happier that we found Michael and the team at Renovision Road. We fell in love with a unique loft in the South Loop of Chicago, but needed professional help (as well as creative ideas) on how to make it safe for our cats. Michael and Chunjie both came to the table with open minds and a willingness to help. They were professional and friendly, often working around our crazy schedules to make it happen. In addition, the project was completed quicker than the projected timeline. We will most definitely be using them again in the future, and would highly recommend to anyone else seeking assistance!

Renovision Road was a real find! We had a rather complicated renovation project on our kitchen, dining room and family room area that included, among many other things, wall demo, moving plumbing, electrical and removing/replacing brick to install sliding glass doors. I have had renovations done in the past, but never to the scale where architectural drawings were involved and where there were so many unknowns. This is an 84 year old house and we knew we needed to find a crew that would understand the bones of an old place like this. Renovision Road was straight with us from the beginning. They gave us a very detailed quote and also let us know some of the issues that might arise once the walls started coming down. They had a firm grasp of the structural issues of an old house like this and the types of things they might find (like frayed cloth wiring). Needless to say, several issues did arise; insufficient electrical to install our induction stove and convection oven, a leaky flat top roof over the family room, an issue that escaped the house inspection but was confirmed by owners previous to the ones that sold us the house (long story). In any event, Renovision Road met the challenges at every step of the way and were very transparent about the costs, which I shamelessly researched to make certain we were be dealt fairly; and we were. This was a 6 month renovation and given the issues of supply chain during this time (starting summer 2021), it was nothing short of a miracle that it was finished in this time.

As we were living there during all of this, there were certainly moments of high stress. There were even times when things didn’t always go as planned, but when I had an issue with work that had been done Michael and Chunjie responded in a timely manner and made the situation right. They had a solution for every problem and were committed to making the finished job match the vision. I enjoyed my dealings with both of them immensely and would highly recommend them to you if you want honest service, an impeccable eye for detail and a real ownership of the project. They come to care about your house as if it were their own and they revel in the finished product with you!!

The best of the best! The renovation process is always intimidating but Michael made it run so smoothly. He helped us not only with providing consistent updates/check-ins throughout the renovation process, but also with lots of creative design ideas that really help move things along. The whole team is very detail oriented and ensures each step of the process is worked on thoughtfully and carefully - which is something that has been a problem in the past with previous contractor services. Having someone do repairs in your home is never fun, but these guys made the process a lot less painful than it could have been.

Michael ended up helping me on a challenging repair job involving two closets that took months to lock down because of an insurance situation, but Michael hung with me the entire time. His approach to the job got me the most bang for my insurance buck and then some, the work was awesome, the professionalism was outstanding, the crew was great. But most of all, I trusted him to know his stuff, to communicate, and to come up with smart solutions at the right price. He left my place better than it was before the damage I had experienced from an upstairs neighbor's leak. He could not have been cooler to work with.
