I have worked with Randy & Stevie for at least 4 years at two different locations. I have had the install and maintain a large in-ground vegetable garden and have recently started a raised bed garden. I LOVE their work, craftsmanship, enthusiasm, and extensive knowledge. They are professional, personable, and flexible. I do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to plan a custom garden or landscaping project.

My family gifted me a raised bed from Resolution Gardens for Christmas and I absolutely loved the process and end result. From Randy designing a little flyer for my husband to wrap as my gift, to the crew showing my son how to plant the snap pea seeds, working with this team couldn't have been better. We started with a 12x2ft metal planting box with trellis and its the highlight of my backyard. We have plans to expand and will definitely work with Resolution Gardens again.

Unfortunately, this company is part of the reason Texas has a law against deceptive trade practices. I have spent months trying to reconcile fraudulent practices with the owner(s?) and have been left with no path for recourse except a lawsuit.

I was referred to Stevie and a Resolution gardens through a family member who his part of the addiction recovery community. They were the most expensive of 3 quotes I received which I discussed them. At the end I chose to move forward on Stevie's guarantee of my satisfaction and in part because they were a referral who, in my mind, was helping a good cause.

Skipping past communication issues, worker inefficiencies, and seemingly random start/stop times, the bottom line is they cheated me out of $2000 on my $9345 deposit and were not able to finish the job they started.

The quote stated in writing that the final bill was due on receipts and actual hours worked. At the end of the job I was told there were no receipts for the materials and "her records" showed 13 daysx8 hours x 2 people for a total of 208 hours.

They were only onsite 10 days for 5 hours/day (+ 2 partial days), they only worked onsite for 110hours. Stevie has justified that I should pay 3hrs/day for her people to drive to my house. I raised this concern twice during the job, the project manager onsite agree that I should not be paying for drivetime and Stevie assured me we would sort it out at the end.

The company quoted me $1000/gravel, then tried to charge me $1960 for gravel and when I asked for receipts they "cannot" be provided and so the charged was dropped back to $1000 as quoted.

In the end, if I ignore inefficiencies etc, this company brought $7000 worth of value to me. They took my $9345 and have refused a refund stating that I should pay the workers for 8hrs/day even when they were only onsite for 5 and pay for days in which they didn't even show up. Stevie has change the invoice a few times, each with different core numbers, but it all instances coming to the same conclusion that her work was justified.

Every single hour I have accounted for is on my property cameras. Advertising that their work is billed on receipts and actual hours worked and then billing for excess hours and zero receipts fit the definition of deceptive trade. Be very aware of this company.

Edit on March 26, 2023 to add pictures of the steel work when I asked for smooth curves I got this. Wrong gage steel, totally shoddy welds, I had to remove it all myself and redo. Stevie told me she was a badass and I was left speechless when asked what I thought and that it looked great. She later told me it was the worst job she's ever done.... and yet I'm out $2k. Lawsuit coming.

Resolution Gardens were great to work with from start to end (and even finished under budget). Randy met with us to understand what we wanted and suggest options. His consultative approach was exactly what we were hoping for; he recommended options that would work well with our space, our goals, and our budget. Once he shared a budget proposal (which was free—we saw some companies that were charging just to provide a quote), he worked with us making tweaks to get it exactly the way we wanted. When we decided to move forward, Stevie and her team started right away. Their work was top notch. They cut stone and welded on site, and they put in a great variety of native plants along with stone walkways, steel planters, and trellises. We couldn't be happier with our yard—the backyard in particular has become my favorite place to be. Highly recommend Resolution Gardens.

Randy not only transformed my yard, giving me a gorgeous garden, but also followed up with garden coaching, giving me the confidence to become a real gardener! I HIGHLY recommend Resolution Gardens!

We hired Resolution Gardens to redo both our front and back yards. It was a fairly large project. Randy provided us with sketches and was happy to revise them based on our feedback.

We were scheduled quickly and the jobs were also completed quickly. Stevie in particular did a good job. She's a knowledgeable person and also a pleasure to work with. The workers seem to be treated well and have long tenure with the company.

They came back to finish a few small details and replaced one plant that died. Their pricing model is transparent and they work hard to stay on budget. As a result, the overall price of the project was considerably less than I think others would have charged for the same job.

Randy was very good to work with; he listened carefully and picked up on everything I envisioned and made additional practical suggestions. He spent a lot of time going over everything in detail and making revisions based on our mutual conversations and the desired goals.
He was professional and extremely efficient with the turn-around time on his bid estimates--Super Quick! I would say his prices were in line with other Landscapers-and he seemed very knowledgeable. I ultimately didn't use him for our job-- We had some timeline issues that didn't quite mesh--But I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or refer him.
