One of the best RV parks we’ve stayed at. Nice wide roads and spaces. Wonderful, clean, new. The pool and hot tub are amazing. Close to off road trails (the Ehrenberg sand bowl was a lot of fun!). Easy wide boat ramp for those with boats. The clubhouse and store were so nice. As we drove around the property, I said to my husband Joel, “this is the life huh” But best of all was the manager Lou. Above and beyond customer service that I haven’t experienced in a very long time !! Thank you and we will definitely be back. ❤️-Lauren White

We recently stayed here and it exceeded all of our expectations! This place is an absolute gem for RV travelers. We originally booked in for 2 nights which ended up being 2 weeks.

First, the amenities are fantastic. The clubhouse is stunning, with beautiful decor, plenty of comfortable seating, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or taking advantage of the activities they offer, it’s a perfect spot to unwind. There’s a pool table , ping pong , air hockey, big jenga , corn hole and more !

The showers and restrooms were impeccably clean—some of the cleanest we’ve seen in any RV park. You can tell the staff takes great pride in maintaining the facilities. The laundry room was also spotless, with plenty of machines that made doing laundry a breeze.

Speaking of the staff, they were incredibly friendly and helpful. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed.

The location is ideal—peaceful yet close to a couple of large grocery stores. The highlight for us was the sandy beach area right on-site. It’s a perfect place to relax, take in the views, and enjoy the water.

Overall, this resort is a perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and top-notch hospitality. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable RV stay!

River Sands is a nice new RV park in lower southwestern US. It's a huge property with lots of room to spread out.. The newly built clubhouse is very large and comfortable. Tv's and little living room places all over. Plus a little kitchen.The pool is massive and a nice jacuzzi. Great place to stay for the winter. they also have riverfront access to hang out as well.

This park is incredible. We stayed there from January through March this year in a 42 ft class A. It is so nice that my brother and his girlfriend came down from Vegas for a couple weeks and had a great time using the weight room, pickleball courts and the corn hole tournaments. We met fantastic staff that actually appreciated us spending our time there. We liked it so much we kept extending our stay. Thanks Lou, Dawn and your entire staff. Hope to see you this time around again. And Lori says HI!

This is the second CRR resort we have stayed at and it was wonderful. Huge level pull through for our 45 foot class A and tow vehicle, nice dog park, pool and club house area and a great beach along the colorado river that the pups were permitted to visit as well. The folks were here were wonderful!

Large campground. Cool when we stayed so did not use facilities. Our site was not real level and upon walking around the campground we didn't find too many that were level. It looks as though when they graded the campground they just moved dirt and old brush around and covered with a layer of rock. We have dogs that are magnets for any kind of loose brush. This stuff gets tangled in their fur and is very hard to remove plus a lot of this brush has thorns and they can get stuck everywhere and also in their paw pads. We observed this issue every time we took them out to walk or go potty. Even the large dog park had 'grass' that basically had the same effect. This may sound picky but it is something we try to avoid when we camp. We can't always but most places we do stay have cleaned up and removed old brush. This could be a much nicer campground if more attention to some of the small details were taken into consideration. The sites are large which is a big plus but when they are not level it can be a challenge. Roads are loose dirt/gravel and sites are not paved but compacted dirt. Very hard to tell difference between what was considered deluxe site and regular site. We didn't see much of a difference between them.

This was an exceptional RV resort/campground. There were so many amenities that we enjoyed during our brief stay: access to the Colorado river, a hot tub and pool, fitness center, beautiful recreation center, laundry room, private bathrooms and showers and a playground for our 2.5 yr old! The wifi was fast and easy to access. The whole resort was perfectly clean, well maintained and the people working there were the absolute friendliest people. I would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent location with access to the Colorado River and river views from some sites. There's desert landscaping -meaning no shade trees- and it's a new property so vistas are open and bare. But there is good spacing between sites to keep it from having that 'parking lot' vibe you get with so many southwestern RV parks. Amenities are fantastic; the Clubhouse is lovely with huge TVs, game room and fitness center --and it blasts plenty of delicious AC. There's also a beautiful pool and cabanas down on the river -and a lot more. More than we could see or use in our one night stay.
Service is exemplary. We arrived after the office was closed, but we had received a call giving us instructions for a late check-in. Our welcome packet was easily found and ready, including the gate code. We were surprised to be greeted by an employee who escorted us to our site, and others who drove past and checked to be sure all was good.
Perhaps a bit pricey, but definitely well worth it, and we will be back the next time we're passing through.
