I only needed 1/4 yard of gravel. I left my bank card home and only had enough cash to buy 1/4 yard. I asked the guy to help me out and save me a trip, sell me 1/4 yard please. He wouldn't do it. Poor customer service of you ask me.

Not a huge selection BUT it is local quarry rock, I think a few things were from other places but mainly local. Service is okay, some workers were a bit sketchy. Price is reasonable. Yes I was at the right place, it is on Murphys Grade Rd. & the owner lives across the road up on a hill. 46 years I have lived here, I know what place this is.

prices are reasonable but when they delivered I got no phone call as promised so I didn't know they were on the way. i wanted to be home so i could let them know where to dump it, they dumped it in the wrong place and when I complained they basically said oh well. customer service is definitely lacking. owner was not rude exactly but not at all understanding or apologetic for the mistake. probably wouldn't recommend them. which is sad because I prefer small businesses to chain stores.

They do have a lot of stock, and the long haired guy with the beard is pretty good, but the owner makes it impossible to do business because of his over-blown ego.

I’ve been there twice and that’s it! I wanted to select pieces for a landscape project and he didn’t want to do that even though his signs have a price that is higher if you select.

Instead of just explaining he doesn’t sell that way, he came up with some b.s. line about how I could select, but I would pay for the whole layer and then he would just throw away what I don’t want. Not joking around, laughing or anything like that. I would describe his attitude as hostile. He likes to put you down so he feels like a big shot.

They meet you when you come in, then pace around behind you and dog you into picking something out. There is no chance for creative reflection and planning. Mr. Big Shot just wants to prove what a tough guy he is.

If he could just communicate his policies clearly, rather than trying to put down customers, it would be so much easier to just leave and find another place if you don’t accept his policies. But then, Mr. Big Shot wouldn’t get a chance to play the tough guy and feed his poor beleaguered ego.

I ended up going to Solemon’s Garden Nursery in East Sonora and got great prices and wonderful customer service.

Never returning to Mr. Big Shot’s place.

Absolutely impeccable yard with an unbeatable selection! We arrived with a rock, project and scope in mind (early stage), and they ran with it... Took us right to the exact rock, offered other options, discussed prices and ideas, and all knowing we were not buying today. THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE, and we just love this place!

Did I mention selection? Wow. More ideas as I walked the rows.

Oh, and then I scored a bottle of Romie's Toe Jam Tempranillo, so now we are lifers!! (Wine is my Achilles)

I went to Rolleri several times. I've worked with the owner, the dude with the beard, & the owners wife. I bought soil, mixed rock, and boulders. Delivery has been earlier than expected and always dropped where we want. They were a pleasure to work with, all of them.

They have a lot of inventory if you're into putting rock in your home ,garden, or on your property they have very nice service and happy to help.
