It took me a while to decide if i should post this, but as a local professional myself, I know the only path to improvement is feedback. And if I conducted my business this way, i wouldn't have a business. So my hope is that this improves others' experience in the future.

I was building a home with a local builder in Winter Park who used Signature Landscape at the time. We were told they do a great job which is why we were happy to use them. Throughout the building process each contractor meets with you to give you an overview of their product and what they'll be installing/designing/the process/cost, etc.

Signature Landscape was the only contractor throughout the entire two year building process to never meet with us, respond to us, or call us back. They did manage to miss a meeting with our builder and us at the home site, but afterwards found the time to email a $90,000 quote. They wouldn't call us back to discuss or meet with us at the property. When I did reach someone at the office they said the best they could do was send me a digital rendering, and that would be an extra $5,000. I would have been happy to pay all of this by the way - I wasn't even sure of how much things like this costed at the time. Nor did i care. This was our dream home. We just had questions. And I don't mind paying for quality and service.

Our builder said this had been happening a lot lately and apologized (since they referred them). We found another Landscape Contractor that came out same day, gave us an entire design, answered our questions, and came in at less than half the price. Again, this had nothing to do with the price, but if you want to charge a premium for your services the service must be premium, that includes the point of sale.

When sending customers a quote, especially at this level of cost, not responding or showing up to meetings implies you believe your time is more valuable than theirs. Or worse, you're so disconnected from your business that you never even knew this happened.

The design process was smooth and the install went flawlessly. You could see their attention to detail and only using the highest quality products.

When driving around Winter Park you can always tell which houses have Signature landscaping as they are so well maintained and have amazing curb appeal. 100% recommend them!

From the start of the design process with Andy, to the installation under the supervision of Bob and his crew, each step was clearly communicated and implemented on time and as agreed. Renee, in the office always responded quickly to my questions and kept me updated throughout the process. Victor, Stephen, and the entire staff made the project come together seamlessly. No surprises- with the exception of my neighbors stopping by to say how beautiful it looks!

We had the honor of having Signature Landscaping do our weekly maintenance because the house we bought already had them in place. We were always told we were lucky to be able to use them! Within a few weeks we certainly realized why... their precision, professionalism, and final result showed us why they are regarded as the best landscaping company around. All of the guys are great, and they do not accept anything subpar. We then decided to hire them for a major overhaul and the project was done flawlessly and on time. Their original design was exactly what we envisioned. Their choice of plantings was perfect. The installation of artificial turf made our backyard come to life. Everyone on the job was extremely polite and professional. I would not hesitate to hire this company if you need to do a major landscaping job. Also they installed landscape lighting which really made everything pop. Anyone who walks by our house compliments us on our landscaping!

Andy Swanson is so creative and as my neighbor said, “He’s the ‘Mack Daddy’ of landscape design!” Yes, he’s probably pricier than most, but I have to say, well worth it!! Andy does his utmost in every way to please his clients and produce a beautiful outcome. I love my new landscape!! Thanks Andy!!
