I cannot not say enough how wonderful The Groves is!!! My day moved in over 3 years ago after his wife passed away and was unable to live alone any more. He had an apartment in assisted living and was doing well on his own. However after a few years he began to fall. After a series of falls it was suggested that he move into the memory care unit. He had a wonderful transition and with out a doubt that is exactly where he needs to be. He is doing well and I know that the staff is taking wonderful care of him.

The staff both in Assisted Living and Memory care are outstanding!! They treat the residents like there own. The administrative staff is wonderful as well and is always available to listen if I have any concerns.

I had an opportunity recently to tour the Groves Community. Let me first say that is a beautiful community, the grounds outside and interior areas. Each area was tastefully decorated and complimentary to the needs of the residents in each area, (i.e. Assisted Living, Independent Living, Memory Care).

Each of the staff members I encountered were professional, friendly and courteous. I also came across numerous residents during our tour who were friendly, knew our tour guide by name, all in all everyone seemed happy, comfortable and well taken care of.

I had numerous questions which were answered very thoroughly. I felt the pricing affordable for what was being provided in services and amenities.

In looking to retire and move to an area where may I need such resources, I was very pleased to have taken the time to stop by. I would trust the care of my mom, or myself to this wonderful community.

I was looking for an assisted living retirement community for my 80 year old mom, and came upon The Groves on Apple Maps when searching. I went straight to their website and requested a tour. Without delay, Tony Roman, one of Family Advisors, promptly reached out and immediately scheduled a tour for both my mom and me.

We initially looked at the Studio, and subsequently went back to the facility multiple times to see all the other floor plans. Tony invited us to have lunch in the Restaurant with him to give us the opportunity to ask all the questions we had. It was a very personable and genuine encounter with Tony. He answered all our questions and offered solutions to our concerns. We also worked with Areyda Felix, the Assistant to the Executive Officer. She was phenomenal in helping us make the connection to a mobile PCP that oversees other Residents there. It’s a foreign concept to me, but it’s exactly what my mom needs because as she ages, it is becoming more difficult for her to travel in the car to go see a doctor. It was reassuring to know that the mobile PCP works and coordinates with the Nursing staff on site. This was a big deal for me as I needed to be reassured that my mom would get the proper assistance on the administration and supply of her medicine prescribed by the PCP. Areyda remained engaged with us throughout the transition/move-in process to ensure all the administrative paperwork was completed on time for the move-in. Both Tony and Areyda provided exceptional customer service. They didn’t miss a beat on my calls, emails, and text messages. At every point of communication, they were prompt and responsive.

In all the trips we made to the Groves, we got to see what life looked like and got a good glimpse of the staff working with and around the Residents. We got to see happy Residents freely roaming “their house” with ease and comfort and being cared for by the very kind working staff. Seeing all this for myself gave me the confidence The Groves had the capabilities and skillsets that matched my mom’s needs for assisted living. What I love about the facility is that it is small and customized, but big enough to make Residents feel like they have their independence knowing that help is at arm’s length. The entire building is beautifully decorated and warm. The lighting inside is good and bright. The place is safe (everyone visiting must check in and out) and there is always someone at the front desk.

For all the reasons stated above, my mom and I chose this place, and she is now comfortably in a one-bedroom apartment. My mom reports to me she is checked on multiple times throughout the day by the staff and she is beginning to make new friends. My hope is that she will be enriched by all the daily activities that are offered. It is comforting to know my mom is now living in a place that will give her the good quality of life that she deserves.

My mother moved into the Grove a month ago. She is 98 years old. The staff has been so friendly and welcoming! The transition could not have gone more smooth. She is happy, eating well, enjoying many activities and is safe. I highly recommend the Grove.

I am just so impressed with the new management at The Groves- WOW! The amount of heart and attention that goes into each tour has really amazed me. As a placement agent, these things really matter. I took a Korean client to tour and Tony (marketer) greeted her in her language and had already researched how to get her Korean shows she loves to watch on their cable programming. Every resident was dressed, put and engaged and smiling (some even greeted us). Same with the care team- smiles and professionalism. If any client of mine is looking for assisted living in the Goodyear area… The Groves is at the top of our list! Thanks Tony and team- you’re making a difference!
