I looked at many lawn sevices to put in a sprinkler system and re sod my front yard. I signed up for the "Lawn Health Traditional Program" this provides 12 months of bi monthly service to treat, protect, and monitor the new sprinkler system and new sodded yard. After the worst freeze in 20 years in Gainesville, my yard went from green to brown. I called the Masters and they came out the next day. They assured me that the grass went dormant due to the hard freeze Jimmy came out and explained the problem and sprayed my yard with Potassium..

Im very impressed with Jimmy and his knowledge and his manager, even showed up (Yomi) to make sure I was satisfied and confirm my yard was not dead. Shout out to Railee and Lindsey in the back office of Masters. If you need a reputable, hard working, and reasonable priced company...Its Masters Lawn and Pest. 5 Thumbs up!

In the process of having an additional dwelling built on our property, we decided that our irrigation system and landscaping both needed an overhaul. The Master's sent out Clayton Salome to 1st assess our irrigation system, then to develop a comprehensive landscaping renovation plan. Clayton is incredibly knowledgeable about irrigation systems and educated me extensively on how to solve our problems. Then when discussing landscaping, it was clear that Clayton is an expert with all things landscaping, from logical design layouts to introducing numerous planting options, to knowing what plants will do best, and where. He took the time to listen to our needs and requests, and provided a thorough landscape design that was reasonably priced and fits our needs.

The irrigation project was scheduled 1st, and Jordan Mattern was tasked with completing it. Jordan was very communicative and punctual, and is very friendly. He took the time to discuss why and how he was going to correct the irrigation system. He made sure he understood our landscaping plans and coordinated the irrigation system accordingly. Jordan made a point to walk me through our renovated system to ensure I understood how everything worked and said he would be back to schedule the system to work with the new landscaping after that gets installed.

We are extremely satisfied with this company, from their scheduling department to their salesmen and installers, everyone has been very kind, respectful, and professional. We look forward to seeing our new landscaping completed soon!

Masters installed a new Seville Saint Augustine lawn sod in our front yard. It was a pleasure to work with Herbert, who is personable, cooperative, and knowledgeable. He is very experienced in all things about lawn installation and care. We also enjoyed working with his partner, DeShaun. We highly recommend Masters and their team of people.

The Master’s termite team is great! From Antonio and his partner who put down the termite preventative application to the two gentleman who did the post-application inspection, they were fantastic. They answered all my questions patiently and treated my property with care. A special shout out to Manny for his caring and concern. I am so glad that I opted to go with a great local company over an out-of-state-based corporation.

Our project manager was Anthony and he is truly one of the best people in the business. He always made sure we were happy with everything and that all of our concerns were taken care of. Although, there was a big miscommunication with their landscape designer where he claimed we were asking for something big to be done that we didn’t pay for. Anthony tried to sort everything out which in the end, the landscape designer admitted that we were right and that it was already in the proposal and we had paid for exactly what we’re asking for. It would’ve been a big difference in what we had asked for and paid for so I’m glad they were able to resolve it.
We had terrible elevation on one side where there was a lot of sediment loss resulting in our foundation being exposed. So Master’s built a beautiful retention wall with drainage to make sure our foundation was safe and the side was usable.
We also had them do a landscape design/installation as well as sod installation on another side which both turned out great.
But the people we were most thankful for are the workers! Kevin, Jesse, Joe, Deshawn, and Eric were the ones we had the pleasure of working with. Every single one of them treated this project as if it was their own home. They were kind, hardworking, and respectful! We highly recommend Master’s!

I’ve tried working with them for months (well, since end of last year 2023) to improve their service and to at least do the worked they’re CONTRACTED to do. No improvement, no changes. They mow over garbage and spread it all over the property , no weed management so all the shrubs and such are being choked out and dying. IF they trim the hedges it’s only half done, they rarely pick up fallen branches/fronds (I’ve been given confirmation multiple times they should be doing this) leaf and pine debris is built up and unruly. Honestly the property has never looked worse than since they started. Their guys leave trash from their own drinks and food they throw stuff just over the property fence to make someone else deal with it. All around poor service.

Masters Lawn Care exceeded my expectations! From start to finish, their team was incredibly professional, on time, and did an outstanding job. Herbert, the project manager, ensured everything ran smoothly, while Deshawn and Davie worked diligently to create a beautiful landscaping bed. The irrigation and herbicide specialists were also top-notch.

Courtney in the office kept me informed every step of the way with excellent communication. And I can’t say enough good things about Clayton—his design expertise and willingness to collaborate made the entire process seamless. This company truly goes above and beyond anything I’ve experienced in Gainesville since moving here. Highly recommend!

I just had Masters Lawn complete a sanding & topsoil dressing for my yard. I was losing grass with many bare spots. I had trimmed up my tree canopy to help with more sunlight and it was recommended by a few knowledgeable lawn people to do this service. Masters was recommended to me, and I was more than pleased with the overall service from the inside scheduling crew to the tech who performed the Job. The tech, Kyle, was professional, knowledgeable and extremely nice while taking great pride in his work .I recommend Masters for this service and will use them again for future projects
