This place is very beautiful but the owners are not friendly and dictate everything you will do there. Would not let us have the time we wanted because of sun. Tried to correct on many things we wanted to do and were very nit-picky. Yelled at us saying we were not listening to her as well. Good luck having a wedding here if you want to make your own decisions.

Sad to see a beautiful place run by a tyrant, the husband is super nice and clearly puts in a lot of work into the place, the woman on the other hand will micromanage your wedding down to the bone marrow. Seriously Sad to see.

It is a very beautiful venue to have a wedding! Such a gorgeous setting, we had perfect weather, a great amount of shade, and the parking was easy. The greenery, the bridges over the creek, and the pond are spectacular backdrops for pictures!

The only negative thing I will say is that the owners patrol the entire time and make guests uncomfortable by watching like hawks. Mind you, only beer and wine are allowed, so it’s not like anyone is going to get crazy, which definitely did not happen, but they still took turns walking around the venue the entire time, and then sat in their golf cart and watched as we were talking and dancing. They also don’t like kids there, and scolded our kids for playing in the rocks and walking by a truck, which is ridiculous in my opinion.

Overall, I’d recommend the venue because it’s absolutely gorgeous there, but I didn’t like feeling like we were doing something wrong when we weren’t (mind you we had to purchase a million dollar event insurance in case anything happened). I’d give it 5 stars if the owners were more chill.

Had my wedding here. It really is a hidden gem. Very beautiful property. The owners were nice. They worked with us well. They stuck around for the whole ceremony and photos afterward which I thought was a little intrusive. They also started putting up the chairs before we even left the grounds. Maybe it was so we'd get the hint to leave now.

I have brought my babies here every year the day after Thanksgiving. So sad to see them close up the Christmas tree portion but I'm gonna have faith they'll come back someday!
