I have been a primary care patient for over 2 yrs. I originally had Dr. Townsend as my primary, and he left (without notice!) so I was assigned an interim physician, Dr. Michaels. Then I was assigned a new graduate, Dr. Brooks, pleasant young lady, although with very limited experience. I wanted to change to the main stay physician (who at least has been there as long as I have) and was told I couldn't. Bottom line, staff can keep changing your physician and you have no choice - other than finding another provider/facility. Patient care? I do not think so.

I was given a referral from Humana Military/Tricare to have an MRI here in prelude to shoulder surgery. I called to make an appointment and the less-than-warm receptionist insisted I needed to fax the referral over. I asked if I could email it since nobody uses fax anymore and she insisted that no, they either needed it faxed or they needed a hard copy. I printed it and brought it over a few days later and what I assume to be the same less than congenial personality took my referral and said someone would be in touch to set up an appointment. That was a month ago and still nobody has called. I finally asked the doctor if there were any other options and got and got a referral to the VA imagery department in Jacksonville.

First impressions are very important, and the front desk staff took care of that. They are professional, efficient, and friendly. Scheduling and paying is mostly painless. Dr. Hogan and his assistant are no different. They are also professional and personable. I felt that plenty of time was allowed for questions, discussion, and treatment/testing options. After many years of being less than confident in my doctors, I am confident in this practice and highly recommend them.

Profit over People!
After leaving the Urgent care with not so great news, I was referred to Flagler imaging for an MRI. Due to very difficult circumstances, I let my health ins go, so I am cash/self pay. The woman scheduling took the time to get prices from their different campus locations, as it was 4 TIMES LESS to drive to Nocatee?! I was appreciative! We scheduled the appointment, I prepared the time away from work as well as the expense of the MRI. The day before my appt, I received a “Good faith estimate” that was nearly 50% MORE! After several calls/ holds I made my way to Jessica from financial services. She was very nice and apologized several times. However, the outcome was basically to either suffer financially for their companies mistake or sufferer physically and emotionally and find a new place. As a small biz owner, I would never get away with such or imagine doing something like that! So now tomorrow, I will take time off of work to try and schedule with someone that has 1 transparent price, or a warning of a potential increase. Also, maybe someone local that has the ability to put a patients heath and well being above their financial error. It’s very disheartening to see this side of the health care industry.

Primary Care front office staff was incredibly busy, but still managed to provide timely help with a great attitude. Medical staff was polite, honest, and very helpful. Went in anxious about my visit and left with a plan framework that made me feel much better.

Appointment was taken on time and with very minimal wait times between technicians and the doctor.

Accompanying Flagler Health smart phone app allows you to fill out pre-visit paperwork on your couch well ahead of your appointment, only a few signatures required once you're in office.

Entire visit was a positive experience!

We’ve been coming to FH+ in Nocatee for a couple years now and Dr. Hogan and his staff always make us feel welcomed which is especially comforting when we’re not feeling our best. Dr. Hogan has a family of his own so not only do we get medical advice that we can trust we also can relate as parents, by one of our neighbors in this wonderful community. We trust Flagler Health+ for our whole family!

I have seen Dr Suhey several times...not for myself but for my kids. Both of my kids play sports and have had a couple of minor issues requiring the Doc's attention.

Dr Suhey is great with kids, he is professional, reasonable....and his office follows up to check on the kids and their progress (I heard directly from Dr Suhey today to follow up on my son).

Staff is super nice and helpful. Dr. Hogan is great, he talks to me rather than my files and I value his expertise. Flagler’s integrated systems are great so going from office to office in Flagler for different specialties and they can pull my info. Not all health systems work that well with each other.
