Another disappointment from urban market. 8 out of 10 times is guaranteed to be a disappointment. These were supposed to be chicken sliders. 3 of them with chips for $12. The sliders have half of 1 small chicken tender which is ice cold and mostly breading... So I paid 12 dollars for 1 and a half sad, cold mostly breading chicken tenders with slider buns and chips. Just be prepared for disappointment. I work next door and come here often and I still keep making the same mistake coming here. Such a huge disappointment.

I enjoy Urban Market and have eaten my lunch here daily for many years, but it used to be better than it is now. Since I have type 2 diabetes, I have found it gradually more difficult to select carb friendly meal options. Lately, it seems like the breakfast or salad bar are my only options. However, there is no longer smoked salmon on it, and where there used to be rotating hot food options, that was replaced years ago with a sandwich bar. My options have been reduced to a salad, or a no-bread “sandwich” or burger with no bun at Flame, although, sometimes I can venture to have some tacos at Pico Mesa if I take a jog afterwards. I’ve also been keeping an eye on rotating options at Food Works, but rarely if ever have seen anything show up there with carb friendly options. Even if I could substitute some sides, the checkout system doesn’t let me, so most of what I would order there would be wasted even if the main course were carb friendly enough. Granted that my dietary restrictions can pose a challenge at any restaurant, I work nearby and it is most convenient for me to head here than make a journey elsewhere. I just wish that they would bring back more of the variety there once was.

Love this concept so much!
This place is great for the busy professional that doesn’t want to sacrifice quality just because they’re trying to grab a bite between meetings.

Urban Market is great for people who “don’t know what the want” because they offer so many options.

Also, for those with social anxiety, you don’t have to speak to anyone for any reason whilst visiting this concept. You can elect to order via the Thrive app and pick up your order or you order in store via a tablet.

Their food is fresh and fast (which is an anomaly).
I wholeheartedly support this business.

So many options!

Urban Market is located right outside my office building. I’ve been wanting to try it since they opened! Inside, it’s HUGE, so much seating. There are so many options for food whether you’re craving build your own pasta or salad, fresh tacos or the weekly special they have it all!

I opted for a banh mi sandwich as it was the weekly restaurant special, next week is Cuba Cuba. It was delicious! So much flavor in the meat and the sauce was paired perfectly.

How to order - find what you want & find a kiosk / tablet and place your order. You can sign up for text alerts so you know exactly when your order is ready or keep your eye on the screen for your order number to turn green! The service was quick and I was impressed for how busy during lunch time it is.

Saving the planet - every item is compostable from the utensils to the water cups!

Truly a great place to go & especially if someone is having a hard time deciding what they want. There’s so many options everyone will be happy!

Used to work at Charles Schwab that had a thrive kitchen as well so I was looking forward to eating here while at Charter. Unfortunately I have had nothing but problems with this place. Meat in things labeled vegetarian(green chili), meat it into items ordered vegetarian, inconsistent food prep, for example potatoes fried one day, grilled the next, food items suddenly not on menu but still in app, food items advertised but not available to be ordered. All together not a good experience.

For what is essentially a work cafeteria this place is great! Multiple food stations including Mexican, burgers/fries, deli, and pizza. There's also a large salad bar with a large variety of choices, soups, and you can even get a cheap sandwich at the bar (cheaper than the deli). If you work near Fiddlers Green, you should definitely check this place out.

I have eaten here 3 times so far. The Mexican food (pork enchiladas) was so spicy that I couldn't eat it. Two other co-workers had the same experience with other dishes. I had the salad bar yesterday and that was great - lots of choices. Today I had the pizza. It was ok, but I probably wouldn't order it again. It's nice to have options for lunch and I will go back to try the other stations.

Very inconsistent. Been here too many times, and for some reason keep going due to convenience . Just got food today and they forgot to add one of the ingredients I asked for in my pasta. If you get food from the grill, good luck. One day it is great and the next it is awful. How hard is it to cook french fries. They are either under cooked or rock hard. I even asked once to have my bill credited due to wait time and they agreed, but forgot to do it. When they first opened, it was pretty good, but seems to have taken a nose dive. Also, over priced for what you get. What is sad is that if this were any other restaurant, they would close in six months due to the inconsistency. But since they are so convenient and close to many offices, they will survive somehow. It would be nice if they would work on things, but doubt it will happen so I would not recommend.
