Genial fuimos a celebrar el. 4 de julio a la feria de Bartlett la verdad la pasamos increible super agusto viendo los fuegos artificiales y tambien se lanzaron de paracaidas

Beware of any Cost Sharing program within the village of Bartlett! I fell victim to their lies, false assurances, misleading statements & manipulation. Despite proof of Public Works inferior & incomplete work, the village president & trustees remained quit. The Bartlett Public Works director is uninvolved & a failure in carrying out these programs.

The village of Bartlett has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes and shows no understanding or compassion when there’s a misunderstanding (this is strictly related to changing water meter and any sort bill payment). They lack any sense of what is right and fair. If you ask for a fee to be waived due to their error (which they will say they have no fault in), prepared to be treated rudely. Not only will they dodge your calls, but they also make you feel like you are the problem. It’s incredibly frustrating dealing with people who clearly don’t care about the resident they are supposed to serve. Once again this is strictly regarding their customer service at the village (utility payment department at village). The other department are superb and make living in Bartlett amazing. The utility and bill payment should be virtual where you do not need to talk to rude people.

The village of Bartlett plow team is amazing! Let them know it made my day when they assisted my snow removal. He waited as i pushed the snow off my driveway and then pushed it away for me. Taking the time to help the townspeople is just great!

I've lived in Bartlett since 1999. Although I haven't had much experience with the village hall, what I have had is fine. When I had my house re-sided this past Fall, the inspector I dealt with was very cordial & reasonable and passed the project with very minor suggestions. There was another inspector, but he never introduced himself (& I didn't know he was even there).
One thing I'm not happy about is the lack of signage around the neighborhoods (mine at least) for overnight street parking. I don't remember ever seeing a sign, but a few months ago, my guests & I learned the hard way. There were a total of 3 cars in the street & all got hit with tickets (& fees).
It's important to mention that there have been numerous occasions over my 20 years here, that we've parked in the street without issue.
Overall, I love the town itself.

Late 2018, I had a new sidewalk put in front of my residence which had been carved into and defaced while drying. Bartlett PW was notified and provided no follow up in 2018 after I called several times. I refilled in 2019 and was told they will not fix it due to no obscenities being carved into the sidewalk. I am strongly disappointed in Bartlett and how the matter was handled. Allowing defaced city property to stay is accepted in the city and not taking care of their residents is my takeaway in their poor services.

5 stars to officer Bartlett Police Officer Mark Hogan for professionally & safely installing my kids car seat. The police dept. even gave a free gift bag for newborn (bartlett police stamped sippy cup, wipes, pacifiers) which was a pleasant surprise. More power to you & Thank you for your service!
