This place is a joke. I had to go four times for them to repair my trimmer because they didn't fix it right. A new trimmer will be of the same brand name, $99 in Home Depot. But I ended up paying $85 because they never had it right and charged me every time that I went back because the trimmer keeps shutting off when using it. I'll never go back to this place because even the lady that is at the counter, is bitter and always treating bad other customers. Don't go to this place and waste your time and money. There are other better places like General in Wiles rd. Coral Springs or Green Thumb in Coral Springs too.

No frills. Just good old fashioned honest work. Brought blower and weed eater in a few weeks ago and they are running like new. Brought my hedge trimmer in today and they were able to make the repair while I waited.
They don't try to sell you something you don't need or charge you ridiculous fees.

My name is Bob and I am the new owner for the last year and a half. I have read all these reviews and am sad to see the reputation my store now has. All of these reviews are true some good some bad and some very bad. Since I have owned it I have not been able to find any kind of quality help so there are a few bad reviews while I have owned it and we deserved those bad ones.... Until now. I have hired Phil and he is very talented and pleasant to do business with. I give you my word you will be pleased. If you have ever come to giant tire right next door you will get the same type of service that you received there because I'm the same Bob who owns that. Also about the deposits that some had issues with it is needed because of the people who drop off there equipment and tell us to fix it and never return to pick it up. And it's quite a bit. That deposit money will always go toward the repair. And if you say you don't want to fix it it's the cost of time in diagnosing it. I hope you all will consider us again. I won't let you down

World of Small Engines is a Broward County gem. The company provides excellent service.

Phil, the person in charge, is professional, knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to provide first class service.

Phil greeted me with a friendly smile when I took in my Snapper mower for repairs. He examined my mower, told me what was wrong, and told me how much it would cost to repair it. The cost was reasonable, fair, and the turnaround time was quick.

He took great care in servicing my mower including cleaning it.

I would not take my Snapper and Stihl equipment to anyone else except World of Small Engines if they require service and/or repairs.

I implore the owner to take good care of Phil. He is excellent with small engines and people.

Went in for what we thought were going to be major repairs on our riding mower and we were hesitant based on reviews but what we found was just the opposite. We could have been overcharged by hundreds but the repair was only a matter of maintenance. Above that the owner Rick informed us of the things we could do
To keep maintenance charges at a minimum. Great shop I will definitely use for all my service from now on.

Such a disappointment when someone can look you in the eye and flat out be dishonest with you. Dropped my pressure washer off in November of last year. Told me they would call in a week and then waited...waited...finally called to check a couple weeks later and they told me that the engine had a stuck piston. Quoted me a price to fix. I said it was warranted and they said it didn’t cover that. Asked them to check with the warrantee company again and they said they would and I would as well. Waited...waited. Called and left messages, several messages and was told the owner would call. Finally, in March, i call again and they quote me a higher price now saying the entire engine needed to be replaced. I go to the store personally to see what was going on. Owner claimed he called me at least a dozen times. Verified my number, and he had the right one. To sit there, in this day and age and claim you called someone’s cell phone, when you didn’t, is just ridiculous. No calls on my phone bill, no missed calls on my cell phone. Be honest. You dropped the ball. The cherry on top was when I asked for my power washer back he told me sure and asked me if I wanted him to throw the parts to my pressure washer in a bucket. I said, excuse me I paid $35 up front to diagnose the issue and you want to give it to me back in pieces? What kind of service is that? I told the owner to please put it back together and picked it up the following week. I will never use of recommend this place to anyone. The owner did a very poor job communicating and then was dishonest about it. Not the way to run a business.

I went there for carburetor gaskets for my old Tecumseh engine generator and was advised they really don't carry just gaskets but will try to match what I have. He came up with a perfect match and also offered a fuel bowl gasket and a needle & seat that would work. I walked out spending less than $20! They were most helpful and highly recommend this place. BTW, the generator started with the first pull after cleaning up the carburetor using their recommendations how I should do it.
