I called the wrong number and it ended up working in my favor. Jay answered the phone and I asked for John. He said there wasn't a John working there, I told him I have the wrong number and he asked if I was boat shopping. I told him yes and we started talking about what I was looking for and what my family uses a boat for. After our conversation he sent me his listings and the next day I went to check out some boats. He was very knowledgeable and guided me through pro's and con's of each boat for my family. I picked a boat and we got started on the purchase. However before the deal was done another boat had come in and he told me that he felt it would be better fit for my family. So I went back and looked and we chatted about the differences between them and in the end I decided to go with the boat he recommended.
Once the loan came through from the bank I dropped off the check and he delivered the boat to me the next day. He made sure I was aware of all the nuisances and basic boat knowledge and made sure I was set up for success. 10/10 would use Jay again.

Had a good experience. Jay and Chris were both very nice and professional. Seem trustworthy. Jay called me a couple days after I brought the boat home to just make sure I was completely satisfied. Even though sales are "as-is" like anywhere else, Jay still followed up to make sure everything was perfect. It wasn't perfect, I had a minor concern with the engine getting enough fuel and Jay made sure we got it 100% figured out. Turns out I just needed a quick lesson on operating the 2-stroke motors properly and haven't had an issue since. Highly recommend.

I have been searching for a boat for quite sometime when I came across a boat for sale by Jay Stuart Marine. The boat was going to sell fast so my wife went without me to pick up the boat. She was so complimentary of Chris and the way they made her feel comfortable and provided so much detail. Chris let us know that the boat (a 2018 Regal) had been sitting for a long time and while they ran it and tested it, they were honest in letting me know upfront they couldn’t guarantee the condition but he did tell me that anything that came up they would take care of and just get it back to them. Well, it did have a few small issues and I did bring it back and they fixed it immediately and at no charge like they promised. I was shocked to see honest genuine people who just did the right thing. In the end, I ended up buying a brand new boat and told Chris that this just not the boat for me. He told me to just bring it back and he’ll refund me. Sure enough, I got there and he wrote me a check and took it back. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a boat from them again. They are stand up guys!

This dealer doesn't even deserve 1 star.

It’s sad when you can’t even trust a business. We shook hands and have a written contract. Jay shook my hand and told Elizabeth Bergdoll the boat is yours. That there is no need to exchange money. He deals with the bank all the time. Well the bank probably doesn’t know this is a shady dealer. We did everything correctly and have a signed contract. Jay turns around and sold the boat to someone else and probably for more money. We do right by people, so for a business to screws you is a sad day!

Follow up, no worries, this was a blessing. we purchased a new jet boat a million times better than the boats at this dealer and I use the term very loosely.

I bought a used consignment boat from Jay and Chris at Stewart Marine and I’m gonna tell you they are two absolute gentlemen. The boat turned out to be fine but that’s always a risk you take on your own but as far as the dealership and the people there they are fantastic.
