UPDATE: Since my original review (below), Bob Welch - President of ProStaff - visited, stood behind his work & acknowledged responsibility by installing 2 pallets of sod. His crew was very professional & did excellent work.That's the good part!

Unfortunately 2 pallets of sod was not enough to cover all the damage, but it was the amount they felt responsible for.

In the end, I only wanted a good lawn treatment service & didn't want to go through any of this. DO YOU?

ORIGINAL REVIEW: After 3+ months of service from Pro-Staff my lawn is a mess!

It started with a full service treatment in May with Arena pest control - at a premium price.

In less than 30 days they came out again because there were still bugs!

Several managers visited and tried to blame it on the irrigation system and while the system may not be perfect - it was getting the lawn wet. And I addressed the irrigation deficiencies. Plus, it rained almost every day or every other day. My neighbors lawns don't seem affected.

Supposed treatments of something or another are being done and here's the results (see early August pics). In my opinion the lawn has gotten worse and areas that aren't getting bare are filling with what I'll call "weed grass".

BUYER BEWARE!! In my opinion, if you need lawn service call someone else!

We have used this company for 8 years for our lawn/pest care. Everything was great-until we needed services outside our standard. We needed flea treatment and we understood it may take more than one time. The first time didn’t work-so we had to reschedule a second time. I have several cats-one of which I can’t get crated to removed the animals while they treat-she only likes my daughter who off to college. My daughter drove down 3 hours to help me-and ProStaff was a no call/no show. Since my appointment was at 5pm on Friday-they don’t have a service to follow up with and I can’t do anything till Monday...which my daughter has to go back for finals. Our house is steadily getting worst and I’m loosing a the battle. They sure as heck call me for payment the very next day for flea treatment that still has yet to work. Very unhappy. And I don’t think I’ll renew my annual treatments and go to another lawn/ pest control company after this experience.

I had a service contract with another company who was unable to fix a leak in my irrigation system after 6 calls for them to come out. Was referred to Prostaff by a neighbor and they scheduled Bob out to come and assess. Bob spent a short half hour or so at my house and immediately determined the issue. We rescheduled a time for him to come Back out with the part to repair the broken part. Bob was super professional and friendly and his knowledge of my old system was great! Would highly recommend this company to anyone needing irrigation services. And to top it off, they waived the fee of the diagnosis visit and only charged me for the repairs.

Best pest control service I’ve used since living in Orlando for 20+ years. We’ve only had one incident since we started using ProStaff where we had a breakout of cockroaches (welcome to Florida), but ProStaff stayed on top of that problem with repeat visits and varied techniques until it was fixed. Besides that one incident we’ve enjoyed a bug-free home for many years as a result of their services.

We have been customers for years and are generally very pleased, when there is an issue the follow up is good.
Things I would like to see, if a customer desires a notice of when the technician will visit..the day is fine,,,,it would be a reminder and opportunity to make a comment, ask a question etc.
Again for customers who would like this, if there are seasonal weeds that are obvious that cannot be treated for whatever reason, say so.....and then those door hangers that tell me you have gone paperless and will email the "report".....well then email the report and no need for the doorhanger, especially if we are away 🙂

Terrible service .i knew more than the manager knew about .they took on the account, and serviced my shrubs for 3 applications. Shrubs looked worse after there treatments then before i hired them .then the manager came out and said it was to far for them to drive to service my shrubs . I asked for a refund and he said he couldn't do that
Since then i have hired
EVERGREEN LAWN AND PEST
and they do a great job .

The first scheduled date and time the man was here to do the work. My landlord paid the entire bill up front (mistake) With about an hour left of work to do he said something on his machine broke so he would have to reschedule. He said he wasn't to busy and should be back out the same week and he would call to make an appointment. A couple of days had passed and I hadn't heard from the company so I called. The woman who answered the phone was pleasant but she tried to push the job completion out a couple of weeks. I told her that was unacceptable as I had just moved in and I had everything everywhere and needed to get the pesticide into the holes, for the termites, and the holes sealed. She scheduled for that Friday of the same week. Well the time for his appointment came and there was no one here. I waited about two to three hours and then I called the company. The lady (same one) who answered the phone told me that he was out with an emergency and she wanted to schedule for sometime the following week. I told her that someone should have called me to let me know as I was waiting around the house for this person. The next available time slot was late in the evening a couple of days later and when the time came for him to show up, I called immediately this time, and was told that he still was not able to come out. I told them that this has gone on long enough, they had gotten their payment for the completed job up front, and I needed someone to get out here ASAP. Finally, we scheduled for a couple of days later and he came back out to finish the job. This very long scenario is just to advise people do not pay for jobs upfront. Poor customer service when it comes to notifying customers if an appointment can't be kept.
