Update: Uniqiue Plants and Palms eventually made contact and we resolved the situation as described in the following:

Initially very favorable experience and many great product choices; however, follow up is poor. I purchased a tree and they planted it in May. All went well. The tree flourished and suddenly died 4 moths later in late September over a 2 week period. I talked to Unique Plants and Palms once about it but they indicated they have no specialists on staff that can assess what happened. So, I found specialists who gave me their assessment. Unique Plants and Palms has not returned follow up emails or calls over that last week and a half. Granted the tree was out of their warranty (90 days) when it died; however, when I made the purchase they assured me that if anything happened like this they would not "leave me high and dry", but they have done exactly that.

Great nursery, tons to choose from, & a very knowledgeable staff! Had some large Queen palms installed by Ben and his crew. Very professional and curtious. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their landscape!

Stopped in looking for Queen palms... in less than 30 min Chelsea drove us around to see their stock, gave us some pointers on how to pick a good one, and how to care for them. Had to tear ourselves away from many of the other plants they had - all in beautiful condition. Put a deposit down and expect delivery and installation in 10 days. We can add to our delivery order with other plants or pottery up to the night before delivery. Very helpful and friendly staff.

They have amazing specimens here. Excellent quality- price is somewhat on the higher end, but you get what you pay for- jaw dropping, mature palm trees. If you want your place to stand out, look here first. We are saving up for a nice big palm.

I purchased a Chinese Fringe Tree from the Unique Nursery on 1 in Jacksonville. I was very impressed with Jeremy, who helped me in decision making. He was very knowledgeable in all things related to all the different trees we looked at.
Decision was made and removal of existing palm and installation of the Fringe Tree was timely (within a few short days of purchase).
My only disappointment was when installing the new tree they did not have enough dirt to finish the job properly. They did have 1 bag of dirt on the truck; that they were willing to sell me for 20.00. I felt that was an excessive price for a bag of topsoil; and also felt that with all the related charges; tree, delivery, installation, removal of palm, dump fee for the palm, seems the installation charge should have included ALL necessary supplies to complete the installation. We went to Ace and purchased 2 bags of topsoil for 10.00. They are truly “Unique”. Just s little miffed with the unfinished installation.
